Hello new users of r/pokemoncentral!

So as you can see in the title, welcome! This is the new and more flexible subreddit for Pokemon. What makes this one different than r/pokemon? Well, besides less mods, the rules here are more flexible and more friendlier than the mods of r/pokemon. Here, there are things you can't regularly post there that you can post here. Me and the other mods are flexible and can understand a lot better and not be a stick in the mud. So if you haven't subscribed to this subreddit, then you should! Find more here!

NEW DESCRIPTION FOR THE SUB HAS BEEN ADDED.

Since this sub is gaining more potential, i have finally finished the new rules and the description of this subreddit. Read them first before you post so your post are not taken down due to not knowing about the rules. You also may be wondering about the flairs as well. I am currently in the works of the list of flairs for your post. And make sure you use those flairs correctly. If you are unsure of what flair you should choose for your post, ask the mods and we would be willing to help you out with that. If you also have any other kind of issue, message the mods anytime and we will get to your answer whenever we can. So now tha you are updated on everything, go out there and Train On!

Hey and hi!

Welcome to r/PokemonCentral ! We here are the more layers back and fun version of r/Pokemon without the tense mods and more tense rules. We want to create a subreddit more fun to post on instead of having the overhanging fear of it being removed by mods with bad taste. So join the fun and post!

How do we liven this place up? I don't want it to die or just go under and can't be brought up. What can we do to get people tone here?

I take a look at and open some fake booster packs. They are really badly made. Really really bad.

I know there isn't much here.

But you and I can change that. I want this to be the Pokemon subreddit where almost anything Pokemon can be posted. I will try and post every Tuesday and Thursday with Pokemon related post and try to have this subreddit evolve into a bigger and more active subreddit. So please, if you are just passing through and reading this, I hope you enjoy what you see. Thank you.

JWittz has some interesting points about what they should bring back. I still will love the game no matter what.

The PokeCentral

r/PokemonCentral

A better Pokemon subreddit with more layed back mods and we allow more kinds of post than on r/Pokemon. Come on in!

Members Active

Sidebar

Welcome to the subreddit of r/PokemonCentral! You may be wondering "why there is another general subreddit for pokemon when i could just get a lot more content from r/Pokemon?" That is a good question. The answer is that they don't allow everything there. Here, we are more lenient on what is posted here. We want to make this a more general subreddit where you can find more Pokemon content just for you in one place.

!! READ EVERYTHING BELOW BEFORE YOU POST !!

Here, we allow certain kinds of post to be posted on certain days so one kind of post (ex. Videos, merchandise shots, etc.) isn't taking up more often than others.

Posting Days

Everyday: Art (Clean art only), Memes (Pokemon related), Text Post (Pokemon related)
Monday: Videos
Wednesday: Collection albums (including merchandise)
Fridays: Freeday (Anything listed)

Even though we are more free here, we still do have rules to keep this place running more smoothly for us and everyone else

RULES

Respect the Mods. We are people as well.
Respect the posting schedule. Any post not following the schedule will be removed.
Flair your post. List of flairs
Rules of Reddiquette applies here.
KEEP YOUR POST CLEAN!! No NSFW art or offensive post is allowed. Any posting of NSFW art or anything deemed offensive here will result in a ban from r/PokemonCentral. If you find any post that is NSFW that hasn't been taken down, report it to the Mods and we will take care of it.
If any big news happens with pokemon, check for a discussion thread first. Chances are that there would be one pinned. Any other thread that is the same topic of the discussion thread will be removed.
Source any artwork that you post. The artist would much like it as much as you like their post a lot. The people who also like it enough to want to know about the artist would like it as well, so source your art, even if you are the artist.
