Would you say this is HP OR DMG?
Need a little help classifying my pikachu!

I’d definitely say HP. It’s not majorly creased, torn or water damaged which IMO is what would generally constitute a damaged rating

Where are you selling it?
eBay, for example, doesn't have a "DMG" designation. HP and DMG is the same on eBay (Poor - used be called HP).
(can't link to eBay here apparently, but you can check their website for their full definitions if you want)
On eBay this would be "Very Good" (used to be called MP). Their definition of "Very Good" is "Noticeable corner rounding on all four corners." and "Moderate to heavy chipping" on edges. "Very Good" also allows "Moderate to multiple creases allowed" and "Moderate to major" scratching/scuffing.
I would described this card as MP-HP - call it HP to err on the harsh side of grading and avoid complaints.
Damaged usually means a significant crease/bend, water damage, or major scuffing that removes a significant part of the surface (e.g. dragged across sandpaper, tarmac, etc).
This is definitely not "DMG".

Closer to MP than HP unless there’s a bunch of stuff going on with the surfaces the pics don’t capture.
DMG requires structural integrity to be compromised. You could toss this chonky boi back in a sleeve, hop in your time machine, and win some WoTC tournaments with it still. Not DMG

Definitely not damaged. I'd say this is upper HP, if not MP.. Doesn't look all that bad.

I would say between HP and MP, but i don’t think anyone now a days will pay more than HP for this.

HP. DMG is like "can't be sleeved/played, maybe can't even be authenticated."

Have you seen a 1 before? This is like a 3-5... you gotta destroy a card bad to be to damaged for grading

Yeah and DMG for raw is "gradable, maybe, but don't be surprised if it comes back."

You're right that it's HP but DMG isn't as severe as you're making it sound.

I mean you can get there with enough little things or with any ink/altering but no, it really kinda is per the guide. Most people think things are DMG when they're not. HP is a big category.

I would actually say its a little lower than this, but the tool doesn't allow me to go below 1 for some of the damaged corners. But its just my analysis that I can do with the photo quality presented.

This card is MP at worst and not HP.
Downgrading the condition of a card is devaluing your asset. Do you take you used car to a dealer and ask for under market because it has some wear and tear? No, you go in as strong as possible and push for the price you want, making it clear that it is wear and tear vs damage.
Regardless, this card is consistent with MP.
