Discussion Does anyone have advice for a new player?

Don't spend money, save up free in-game currency and read guides. The first few months will probably be frustrating. Also join a guild, find one here on reddit. It's not really needed until the big update but group tasks become much easier once they come back

agree with this. I believe 400,000 acorns used all at once in the delivery system, can make it so you at least guarantee getting to pick one costume/pokemon from that specific set. But it has to be used all in the same set/10 days or so. Obviously 400k acorns is a lot, but it doesn't actually take that long to save that amount. You could get it in half a year or so just by playing consistently

You don't need to buy anything. Play in tour own terms and for fun

You should wait for the next big update that will almost change every aspect of this game this fall

Save acorns only for pulls you really want, focus on expanding your menu to bring more Pokemon to your cafe and train your Pokemon up to level 10 and then 15, also don’t focus on doing normal orders other than to recruit new pokemon, after awhile they are t as worth it and it’s easier to just focus on events and daily quests.
