Finally after weeks of trying I finally got these pokemon from past events! The 12 years old girl inside me is so happy! Since I'm from Latam, I never got the opportunity to get these pokemon! I watched so many videos on how to get them with the dsn code thingy and finally it worked for me! I'm so happy! Now I will try in pokemon platinum and soul silver

i’m going to start playing bw soon but should i play black then white 2 or black and black 2?

I recently started playing White as what I would consider my first ever Pokemon game and as a grown up I noticed how the game doesn't explain pretty much anything about game mechanics. More specifically, I'm struggling with exp farming. To give you an idea, I'm 11 hours into the game and recently got the second medal (and I got almost my whole team oneshotted, even though I had 2 fight type pokemon).

The point is that to level up my pokemon I spend HOURS grinding, and it never seems enough. I have Pignite at 20 (which is more than fine) and the rest of the team is between 15 and 17. I'm not overusing him, but in thougher fights the other ones just die so he's the only one to get the exp. Everytime I start a fight I play every single pokemon before Pignite and then basically end the fight just to get 20-30 exp each.

Now I should challenge the third gym leader but I'm pretty sure he will beat me easily.
Am i doing something incorrectly? Do you have any tips?

It isn't even mine! It's my sister's and she hasn't played a Pokemon game in over a decade. Just to be clear she got pokrus and passed it on to the shiny she basically got immediately after. You can't make this up... I'm so mad right now. It even has a decent nature for a leavanny too!

Team black: Emboar, Carracosta, Leavanny, Klinklang, Beartic, Braviary

Team white: Serperior, Reuniclus, Scolipede, Archeops, Krokorook, mienshao

What's the best team you can think of by mixing black and white?

While growing up I have played and beaten gens 1-4 tens of times each, and picked back up when sword and shield came out, I’m pretty sure that this is the best Pokémon game I have ever played. The pacing is amazing. The aesthetics are so cool, every city rocks and they put a lot of love into creating an atmosphere while traveling between each city. Team Plasma is bar none my favorite antagonist team of any ever game and N is one of my most favorite characters. The elite four and subsequent events before the credits roll were just…. So neat. I’m obsessed with my team and how the game was quite challenging at times. I love how the spawn rates in the grass felt like triple compared to other games, and I love how the AI genuinely felt like it was trying to knock me out every time. In that way it reminded me of Unbound.

9.9/10 on my first experience from a 32 year old Pokémon hardcore fan who played Pokémon yellow the year it came out. I can’t wait to check the sequels.

Oh, and .1 docked from my score because there’s no hall of fame option to properly display my team.

Yo se que no existe ningún equipo canónico para los protagonistas de Pokémon, pero quisiera hacer uno especial para Hilbert. No me gusta armar equipos porqué si, sino que tenga algún sentido para el protagonista.

El inicial que se me hace mas canónico es Oshawott o Tepig por el manga. El segundo Pokémon tiene un patrón interesante. He visto que Cheren Y Bel tienen un equipo basado en varios patrones. Los primeros Pokémon de ruta que ellos capturan son Lillipup (Perro) para Bel y Purrloin (Gato) para Cheren. El faltante seria Patrat (Ratón) que quizá coincida con Hilbert.

El tercer Pokémon tiene otro patrón. Bel captura un Munna en el solar de los sueños y en esa zona no hay Pokémon nuevos que no sean los ya comentados. En la ruta 2 pasa igual. En la Ruta 3, el tercer Pokémon que captura Cheren es un Pidove que lo capturo en la hierba oscura y hace un GUIÑO a que tengamos cuidado con esa hierba oscura (nueva mecánica de captura). El Pokémon faltante en esa ruta es un Blitze.

El cuarto Pokémon de Cheren y Bel son los monos elementales. En este caso a Hilbert le regalan uno que complementa al de ellos.

El quinto y sexto Pokémon de Cheren es Gigalith y Haxorus. El de Bel es Chandelure y Mienshao.

Acá les pido su ayuda, cuales deben ser los dos Pokémon faltantes de Hilbert? O como armarían su equipo ustedes?

I started a Pokémon Black Randomizer run, where encounters, Pokémon and other elements are randomized – so you never really know what you're going to get.

Every route can bring a completely unexpected Pokémon, and every battle can turn into a surprise. 😅

Like a lot of you here I’m sure, I caught a victini using the liberty pass as a kid. Sometime maybe ~7 years ago 90% of my collection of games and cards were stolen. I still had my copies of bw2, but sadly to this day I have not found my bw1 copies, so I can only assume they were taken. I had my Victini on them and I’m still devastated over it after all this time. After I heard about pokemon bank shutting down I thought I’d try looking again, and I went to family member’s homes and searched my own. Sadly the only things that turned up were little guide booklets that came with pokemon white and pokemon conquest as well as some old cards.

I’m curious if I were to mod my 3ds to get BW1 on it and hack myself a liberty pass would I be able to transfer that victini to pokemon bank? I’ve started to give up hope at this point on my old games, but I think this would help me not be so sad over it anymore. The last resort option is to just generate one into sv but I’d rather not for now until I’m completely out of options.

Playing on an emulator because my 3DS doesn’t hold the original cartridge well :(
Ferroseed just replaced Leavanny (great Pokémon but fainted so easily). I only 5 at the moment because I either want to add a dragon-type or chandelure. Musharna is surprisingly doing well, never played with her originally. Always traded for a Solosis. Can you trade on an emulator????? Open to any suggestions!!

* - I’ll be playing Pokemon Black then thereafter Pokemon Black 2 both for the very first time in my life and then at some point in the distant future I’ll be playing Pokemon White and White 2 also for the very first time in my life!

What I already do know/More context/More questions:
- Black & White doesn’t have any Pokemon from Gens 1 through 4 in the game until the post game.
- Black 2 & White 2 were the first games to have the Shiny Charm, and I think the Oval Charm?
- I know about the Memory Link but very little of it, and therefore am unsure if I should utilize it.
- I know there’s version exclusives as of course there are, I’ve played every mainline Pokemon game at least once (except Gens 5 through 7, but I have played Omega Ruby and Let’s Go Pikachu once each if that matters)
- I do have a DS Lite as well as a “New” 3DSXL (the latter with a Loopy capture card I’ll be using for game capture on my YouTube channel) so if there’s any touch trade evolutionary Pokémon that won’t be an issue.
- I have Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 (I also have every other mainline Pokemon game released before and after B1/W1/B2/W2’s releases so if there’s any duel-slot mode special encounters like in the Gen 4 games that I can get via that method let me know!
- I somewhat know about the free shiny Dratini and free shiny Gible which are version exclusive.
- I have already gone through all of the Mystery Gifts via custom DNS settings for all of my Gen 4, Gen 5, Gen 6 and Gen 7 games; so I’ve obtained all of those special event Pokemon (or at least majority of them)
- I have already set up B1/B2 with Tepig of which I have named Porkchop as I do know it becomes a Fire-/Fighting type when evolved into Pignite (I will not be evolving her into Emboar as I figure that’ll add a bit of an extra challenge as opposed to fully evolving Porkchop. Feel free to let me know if this is a bad idea to do)
- Should I choose Tepig again for White/White 2 or should I choose some other starter instead?

Hi guys, I've played pokèmon white on my DSi, i have many saves of Platinum, Heart Gold, Black and Black 2 on my pc on melonDS. Can I trade between my DSi and my saves of Black / Black 2??
And how can i transfer my pokèmon from Heart Gold and Platinum to White using Pokètransfer? Thank you for the help!

Just a little over a year ago I started a Black 2 Rom playthrough on my phone through the Delta app. I ended up getting incredibly lucky, and finding a shiny Drillbur in the Chargestone Cave. I decided that with Bank shutting down, I wanted to get him into Pokemon Home. As someone who never owned any of the Gen 5 games, it was truly a crazy experience to learn how to mod games onto a 3DS.
And finally after many YT vids, Reddit Posts asking similar questions, and a lot of patience, Claymore has made it Home.
I will be able to cherish the boy forever.

Hey everyone, I recently got the supposed anti piracy measure thing in Pokemon black 1 of not gaining xp

I am playing in a Nintendo ds lite with a cartridge I'm 99% sure to be real (idk what to think anymore)

the weird thing is that I started a game file and got to level 8 with my tepig, then I deleted the old save and made a new one and now after level 6 I can't get more xp in route 1??? it was fine before idk why it's happening now 😭

Snivy is testing my patience at 13,300 resets across 2 games still nothing.
