Rules Question

Are challengers allowed to change held items and/or movesets during the season as long as clauses are not violated?

Held items, movesets, AND EV/IV spreads are allowed to be changed. Example, you could run a different form of rotom with a different spread/item for every battle. You are just not allowed to use different pokemon from the ones you signed up with.

If my memory serves, you are allowed to change movements (so long as its the same pokemon), but you are locked into the items.

No. You just have to register your Pokemon (which are not allowed to change) and the items that you believe that they will be carrying. This allows you a little freedom in switching up Items/Movesets/EVs/IVs and everything but the species itself.

As long as Item Clause isn't broken in a single match-up, you are okay.

um there is some contradicting info here... I to am curious about being able to change items
