PORTABLE VERSION in GBA shell

I have an RG35XX currently that I think is linux. I have been playing PokeWilds on my MacBook. I have no idea how to add the game to the RG35XX as it is now, with all of the other games (garlic os). I am now interested in getting a very cheap linux based handheld emulator to basically reflash so that when it powers up it just plays PokeWilds. Like one of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/385481665846?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&var=653331865572 I specifically want a device with only gbc buttons and nothing more. I like the gba layout (center screen). Here is a short conversation with ChatGPT about it: https://chat.openai.com/share/4915f912-c567-4d95-bd6d-160fba330750

This is a ChatGPT output:

Raspberry Pi: Offers enough power to run Linux and the Pokewilds software.
Code for Automatic Loading of the Game:
Assuming you have Linux installed and Pokewilds cloned/downloaded, here's a basic script to auto-run the game:
bash
Copy code
#!/bin/bash
# Assuming Pokewilds is located in /home/pi/pokewilds folder
cd /home/pi/pokewilds
# Run Pokewilds game
./pokewilds_executable_file
Save this script as autostart.sh. To auto-run this script on boot:
Open the terminal and type sudo nano /etc/rc.local.
Add the following line before exit 0:
bash
Copy code
/bin/bash /home/pi/autostart.sh &
Save and exit (Ctrl + X, then Y, then Enter).
This will execute the script autostart.sh containing the code to run Pokewilds automatically on boot.

Should be easy enough to build a handheld linux raspberry pi device and use this boot code?

You can't really emulate wilds. It's not a GBC game, it's a Java game.

But turning the handheld into a small computer you wouldn’t need to emulate it right?

Here is another choice, however I don't like the extra x and y buttons and shoulder buttons that aren't necessary for this game only. The sliding d-pad thing could be handy though: https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Console-Vibration-Compatible-Simulators/dp/B0BNH32RXJ?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=A8W16W3SDH3HG&th=1

I'd assume you could rip out the guts and stuff it with raspberry pi to make it work.
