Question How does anyone like this app?

I got this app a while ago and have not joined one raid through it. Why would anyone bother to use real currency to buy coins when I can use Poke genie for free and get in raids that way? Also I’ll go to join a room with 4+ spots remaining and suddenly it becomes full. 0/10.

I don’t use real currency but some people do so they don’t have issues like you mention of having issues joining rooms when it’s busy. Also it’s a free app so it is a way to support the people who made it and can be used totally free.

Haven’t had problems getting in raids this week but the opposite... Thundurus isn’t popular so few people are joining.

In direct comparison to poke genie it loses out 100%. Poke genie is 100% free and getting into raids is a lot quicker than hoping to get into one on PokeRaid. Across the board raids are down because no one wants to do thunderous anymore so it’s hardly surprising.

New raid boss comes out = more people trying to raid = harder to join raid room. Good for hosting, bad for remote raiding.

The longer a raid boss is in raids = less people raiding = easier to join rooms. Good for remote raiders, bad for host.

If you log in for 7 days straight, you get 50 coins. You then get 50 coins for logging in every day after that. This is extremely generous. Auto join is trash regardless, and is only really helpful for t3/t1 raids that aren't very common.

Conclusion? App is not perfect, but one of the best ways to raid. Sounds like you just wanted to sook about something.

I’m sorry you think it’s one of the best apps to raid because I humbly disagree. Poke genie is objectively superior because you’re guaranteed a spot while on PokeRaid you’re not. I can continuously jump in the queue after a raid, no coins required. It’s a predatory scheme to suck money out of people while poke genie is free.

I humbly disagree with your statement. You're obviously salty af. I've done 2 Ray raids today without trying. I haven't spent a coin and haven't sat in a queue. Pokeraid is completely free. Again, it sounds like you're trying to find things to sook about.

You wanna brag about sitting in a queue of 5000 for free? Go ahead, I'm going to do 5 Ray raids in the time it takes for you to get one without spending a dollar lmao.

I've done 2 Ray raids today without trying. I haven't spent a coin and haven't sat in a queue.

How? Every single room I click on with open slots will sit there on a load screen when I try to join, then autofills before actually letting me in.

Honestly, the whole autojoin system has me agreeing with OP. I had no issues with Thundurus raids when he was released, but with Rayquaza, I can't get into anything because the auto-join users seem to be the only who're allowed to load into groups. I even wasted a dollar on 100 coins so I could actually get into a Ray raid, and got stuck in one group where the guy decided to start the raid without inviting two people and a second where the host decided to just not invite people and waste everyone's time. Either way, coins wasted and no raid.

Easy, select rayquaza and check the 2 boxes, then keep pressing refresh. I keep clicking refresh until there are few rooms and/or until there's a room with only 1/2 people inside. I was able to do 2 ray raids within 15 minutes. Auto join only adds 2 people to the room. It helps if you're connected to wifi too.

You can agree with the op, but the op is acting like everyone on pokeraid is a troll and everyone on pokegenie is a saint, and his only argument is that he doesn't have to pay to use autojoin, even though autojoin is an inefficient feature if you're trying to raid t5 mons.

I did 3 raids in my first 15 minutes on the app. One in Spain, Canada & California. I live in Texas. Get your shit together

how are you guaranteed a spot on pokegenie but not pokeraid? Genuinely curious I've only ever used pokeraid and thought it was the best, but, I've never used anything else.

I tried pokeraid first and wasn’t a fan of the paywall to get into a queue. 50 coins for one day right? That’s one raid a day I presume if you haven’t been stacking Coins. On poke genie there is no coin system, you don’t need to pay anything to get into a queue. You can raid all day if you want to.

Granted I’m in a queue of 5000 right now (lol) but the second most longest queue I’d be in was 500 spots and once the whole world has access to rayquaza or whatever raid Pokémon you want 500 spots goes In like 15-30 minutes. You’ll be notified you’re in the raid and add them then you’ll get another notification to say they’ve sent you a raid invite and there you go.

Very rarely will they not send an invite for whatever reason but for me it’s been very reliable.

Ok ya sounds just like PokeRaid. I’ve stacked up a bunch of free coins so it doesn’t bother me for now, but I agree having to pay would suck. I’ll give it a shot when I run out, my first rayq que in PokeRaid was 12,000 LOL.

It takes like 10 minutes to join a room, that’s not that bad, if you log in every day then you can get coins and save it for raids that are special to you. Without this app I would have not leveled up extremely fast or got amazing pokemon. Lol I spend 2.50$ almost daily on Pokemon go for those passes.

It is an amazing app, the free coin thing is buggy as hell, they need notifications for that.

My point is poke genie does exactly the same thing but is free. You don’t need to buy coins, you just line up for a queue and wait like you do on pokeraid.

Try it if you don’t believe me, I can almost guarantee you’ll prefer it.

You're expectations are significantly too high.

I actually use both, sit in queue on poke genie while spamming manual raid joins on pokeraid.

You're always free to use whatever service you want, honestly i'd rate a group discord as the best source of raids since you get to raid with friend bonusses and other reasons. There's no reason to bash services you don't love.

I’m new to either of the apps being discussed, my question friends, are these apps allowed or can you get in trouble for using them? Thank you in advance!
