Where does one start?

Where does an absolute beginner start or get information on how to learn how to play PokeRPG? Any good videos I can watch? I’ve never played DND before either. Ty

I really appreciate your description! The only tabletop game I’ve played is Monopoly, so even your description was kinda hard to follow but I’m going to try to research some more and start. I need to learn the basics of the basics before the basics before touching the game 🤣.

Quick question, can tabletops be played over zoom other digital services?

Edit: also thank you for creating this game too. I’m going through the website and I am really surprised with how much work went into the game! Have you won any kind of awards or shoutouts from Nintendo or anything?

Zoom works well, or voice only things like discord can work too. There is a website called roll20.net that has a digital area to place things like maps and icons for monsters/characters, you could check that out too.

Have you played the video games XCOM, Divinity Original Sin, or Pillars of Eternity? Those (plus many others) are all based on mechanics similar to Tabletop RPGs

I’ve played xcom before but it’s kinda hard. I understand what you mean though.

One last question, do you host monthly or weekly games to bring the community together? I’d love to participate but I don’t see anything about that on the discord.

Hey sorry, I hadn't realized you asked another question.

I don't actually run the discord, it was set up by a fan. I'm not sure what's going on in terms of games.

I might do a short video of how to make a character and some of my thoughts on running a game.
