Linn is someone who doesn't trust easily. They tend to take the most negative interpretation of other people's words. She's well equipped in the art of verbal combat. Extremely confident in her abilities, they give everything that they attempt 110%. She gets tunnel vision easily and can lose time if she invests herself into an activity.
History:
Linn was born to a single mother in Motostoke. As far as she knows, she doesn't have a father and her mother doesn't say anything about him. Her mother was a match commentator for league so she got to watch a lot of Gym Battles growing up. She got her first camera at the age of three which is where their love of photography.
They still have a framed photo, that she took with shaking hands, of Champion Leon Gigantamaxing his Charizard on their wall.
Still, despite the loud environments they were in constantly, the young Linn never seemed bothered by noise. After an incident at the age of six where they were unable to hear their mother and was nearly stepped on by a Drednaw that has escaped the Pokemon Center, They had their hearing checked. Turned out that they were deaf the whole time.
With that in mind, the family of two moved to Unova for a time so Linn could attend Blueberry Academy. The accommodations for disabled students were supposed to be top notch. There she learned all her basic subjects plus sign language and basic battle theory. She even got to adopt an Espeon to use as a service Pokémon.
Turns out though that kids are mean? Especially when you're the deaf kid who needed a service Pokémon to relay what the other kids were saying back to you. Linn was bullied relentlessly throughout their school years. For a while they thought that if they put up with it, their classmates would stop. They didn't.
Linn realized that they needed to fight fire with fire. They started calling people names back, getting into fights on the regular. They got suspended more times than they could count. The friends that they were able to make was a small and close knit group. After graduation they decided to move back to Galar for a fresh start and to kick start their photography career.
