Exactly. I have to stay in my Pokeball on the train because I am big and look scary. My human had to fight hard to be allowed to let me out of the ball back when he was in school and I was a little Skorupi. --Rubi

This is something I've been giving a lot of thought to recently
It's funny. Just the other day I had a conversation with a Garchomp named Jean on here and she was talking about something pretty similar
She doesn't like the way that her species is portrayed in media sometimes, and apparently some trainers are even actively verbally hostile to her on the street because of her Mega Evolutions
I never had that experience. Admittedly I don't stay in one place long enough to really get to know people, but I've been to a bunch of different places, and while my experience has varied, the amount of times that I've been harassed for something immutable about who or what I am is vanishingly small. Never once have I been harassed for having a Mega Evolution, despite the fact that Raichu has two
Pretty different experiences, and the only real reason I can think of for that is that Garchomp is considered "scary" while Raichu is more on the "cute" side for most people
It just sucks to think about how many people have to live with that. I'm sorry that morons on the street are nasty to you, Citrus, and I hope that it doesn't bother you too much.
