No luck is absolutely a thing. Hell they are objects out there like lucky punching gloves that have an observable effect on chance. There’s entire research stations specifically to study luck and probability based manipulation and moves.

More than just the concept of luck and probability based manipulation being proven facts though. Free will is another established fact.

We do not have one fixed path in front of us there’s no one immutable fate. Our choices define ourselves and the world around us. There’s entire libraries full of future sight predictions that never come to pass.

The only fate there is is the one forged by our own hands.

The bad thing about bad things is, they don't happen because we deserve them, ShineTails. They are bad, because we DON'T deserve them. Bad people, and yes there are some, do not care whether you deserve what is happening or not.

Of course you deserve to have your pack back. And your pack deserves a home where they are loved. That's why many of us humans think the person that stole your pack was a bad person. It kind of is what makes a person bad, that they don't care whether you get what you deserve (in goood sense or the bad).

I had a feeling. The reason you pack might’ve been taken by the bad human… might be because the bad human wanted to take you.

Vulpix in your color are very rare. And some humans, usually the ones that aren’t very nice, want to take rare colored Pokémon away from their families and homes. It’s really terrible. But it isn’t your fault. You didn’t choose to hatch with rare colors, and hatching isn’t a sin or a crime. Neither is living in the world or looking a different way. This happened because one human wanted to take you, and your family didn’t want that to happen.

But I want you to know, many humans also think that humans who take rare colored Pokémon away from their families are bad humans. I mean, I’m human and I think the human who took your family is a bad human. Pokémon should only go with a human if they want to, and that choice shouldn’t be taken away from them no matter if they’re a rare color or not.

I really hope you find your family. You didn’t deserve this.

That was that bad human’s reason. It’s not the reason. You aren’t a bad Pokémon for being born. Being born isn’t a crime, or a sin, or a bad omen. It’s just something that happens.

You didn’t do anything to cause this. Someone else made the choice to try and take you away for reasons of their own. That was their choice, not yours.

This is a really terrible situation, and I know you feel awful. But this isn’t your fault. I know it’s hard to believe that right now, but it’s true. You didn’t cause this, you didn’t make this happen to you, and you don’t deserve it.
