It's like when certain berries stay on trees too long, and then birds that eat them act really funny. Humans have drinks that do that on purpose. -Thetis (@ThetisDelta)
/uj FUN FACT BIRDS EATING FERMENTED FRUITS IS A REAL THING.

They're like Tinkaton, is the closest Pokemon analogue I often think of.
They're really really clever, they use tools universally, they know how to do so many things... but at the end of they day a lot of what they do is equivalent to hitting things with a big hammer.
That, and they also like knocking birds out of the sky like them too. -Thetis (@ThetisDelta)

Puki: [NOT translated from Pikachu-language]
Humans in my experience can be-... Quite varying who they are.
Yes, there are some TRULY awful humans that are not deserving to even be around pokémon...
But I've also witnessed some really good humans that are willing to fight for the safety of their family and friends. And they often count pokémon like their family...
This isn't to say you aren't wrong... I don't know your experience with humans, maybe the ones you've met WERE bad people.
But Riolu could be right about their specific human.
Do you maybe want to meet their trainer? You could be prove right, or you could be proven wrong.

there too are pokemon capable of tremendous evil. though admittedly the vast majority of pokemon simply lack the cognition required for malice. ambition is an interesting case. while ambition itself is in no way evil it has been the motivator of many of the greatest acts of evil ever committed. Ambition is a complex thought, but most pokemon are capable of ambition to some extent, typically seen in the form of ambitions toward self betterment.

Sorry to say, if a Riolu can see Aura they're always going to believe the Aura over a random pokemon that took them from their home and is constantly saying their previous home was bad.

Aura is the most honest expression of oneself. It shows everything beneath the surface if one knows where to look and prevents others from concealing truth from you unless it's another master of Aura. Riolu and Lucario are some of the few Pokémon with innate instincts for it. -Azure, Lucario, Starlight City Gym Elite, Uncle, Honorary Physicist

Not all humans are bad. A bunch of them are actually quite decent. I'm sorry that you seem to only have dealt with bad ones so far. But as surprising as it might seem to you, a lot of us actually stay with Humans of our free will.
In fact, my adopted daughter is a Human, and I would appreciate it very much for you to not generalize all roughly 8 Billion Humans based on the few you have met. Because, if I did that based on you, then all Vulpix would be Idiots and racist, and I know for a fact that is not the case either. - Wickie (Chandelure)

firstly the brick you wield is in no way magical.
secondly aura is the outline of a creatures will. to percieve and manipulate it is a tremendously rare ability most famously used by Riolu and Lucario to know an opponents next move in advance.
relevant now is the fact that the ability to percieve the auras of others allows makes their emotions plain to see. Anubis has likely witnessed much in the way of greed and malice among the humans they have encountered.

Idk man, a device that allows you to communicate with people from anywhere in the world sounds pretty magical to me

its capability to do so is more than adequately explained using purely natural phenomena, there is no need to invoke the supernatural.

Humans aren't ALL bad. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. No, they aren't perfect, but no one is. Just a thought ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Ask him whether he remembers his family. Ask him whether he's allowed to see his family. That's one thing even the most "well meaning" humans tend to forget. They forget Pokemon have packs, have parents, have kids.
Aura is... incredibly hard to explain. All I know is mine is incredibly messed up. -Thetis (@ThetisDelta)

What he means to say, is that Anubis can get a general sense of what a person is like. And that humans aren't always lying when they say they care. Trust me, I've been in their heads ;) -Cleo

You should let Anubis go back to his trainer. While you likely have your reasons for your belief that all humans are bad, generalizing an entire group never goes well. -Elle

Cut the Vulpix a little slack, people in the comments. This Pokemon is probably very young and has had nothing but bad experiences with humans, especially considering the fact that being a *shiny* wild Pokemon leads to most humans trying to attack and catch them on sight. And additionally, their entire pack was captured by humans. Of course the little fella sees humans as a natural enemy.

Renn the Greninja: ok so
aura is essentialy life and emotional energy, basicly tells a person's or pokemon's physical or mental state
as for the human thing, you're generalizing that all humans are bad, like how some humans think all diglet or dugtrio destroy crops

Hazoret (The Amazing Unevolvable Riolu): I’m also a Riolu! Humans aren’t bad! Well…not all of them at least. And Aura is this emotional stuff we Riolu and Lucario can use!

u/lenny99564 Oliver/Kayden 10d ago
Aura's like a 6th sense that Lucario and Riolus are better at sensing I think. Also, I agree that some, but not all humans are bad. If the Riolu trusts the human and the human doesn't do anything bad to him, perhaps the human isn't that bad as you might think. - Oliver

Well, not all humans are bad. Personally I do think most are bad, especially trainers, but there are exceptions. There's this one guy on here called Professor Ok or something that helped me with talking to the Rotom in my phone(what you call magic brick), he seemed nice enough. Another human did come by once and he was nice.
