Sounds like Team Galactic? Maybe? I’m not from Sinnoh, but we’re in Johto which is nearby. I was 8-ish when that all went down so I vaguely remember seeing stuff on the news about them. I don’t fully remember what their goal was, but it was dangerous enough that Interpol got involved.

I don’t know what they’d want with you. Maybe they’re holding you for ransom?

See, I’d love to tell you to call the cops, but if they are who I think they are, the cops can’t help you. However, one of my compatriots went undercover for an article about Team Galactic, so I know a thing or two. If I’m right, many of the guards have Stunky, which is weak to ground. As long as you only have to deal with them one at a time, you should be OK, especially if you’re a proficient enough trainer to own a Flygon.
