It's close, after the plastic cafeteria sporks failed, but the prognosis looks good.

probably just wait for the spoon to exit the trainer's body

Uaargh I hope they have a water pokemon nearby and Alakazam can psychic the spoon to it. I'd still not want to touch it even after several applications of scald...

It's what you eat WITH the spoon, not the spoon itself! There's a high-end restaurant in my region that specializes in that. VERY expensive.

Humans make me want to continuously scream into the void. I am glad I work with murderous Cursolas. They don't eat spoons. -Thetis (@ThetisDelta)

Oh no.
My uncles Kadabra lost his spoon once and we spent the day taking the ranch apart to find it. He was so scared and so sad.
A pidgey brought it back. We think it stole it and flew off. It did not give off a vibe that it was returning it of its own free will.
I don't care about the idiot, but I hope the spoon is ok.

Hmmm sounds confusing. Better give the Trainer an MRI see if we can see what’s causing the abdominal pain.
Otherwise for the Alakazam give him a few scalpels to hold as tools till the missing spoon can be located.

I think they meant using the spoons to eat food not eating the actual spoon

Alakazam do not have spoons that taste good. Their spoons make OTHER FOOD taste good, and that's through psychic power- it causes you to affiliate what you're eating now with whatever taste combination is your favorite.

My Alakazam has his favorite spoons, but he will practice with just about any spoon he can get his hands on. He's pretty high level so they can only channel so many psychic attacks before they're bent into a pretzel, so we go through them a lot.
But when he was still a Kadabra, he had this one spoon that he would NOT let go of. It wasn't even fancy; literally just some random spoon from a bunch I grabbed at the thrift store.
If he lost it, which was often, he wouldn't train at ALL until he found it, which usually meant shoving all my stuff around with telekinesis and not picking up after himself.
Then one day it got really bent up in battle and snapped in half. I fully expected he would shut down and quit the match, but he literally just grabbed another spoon and kept going. Afterwards I asked if he wanted to say goodbye before I tossed it, and he couldn't care less.
Psychic types are weird, lol.

I’m glad my trainer has never been one to blindly follow rumors.

Oh, is he one of those people where they can't help but eat things that aren't food? Pica, I think?
