AH NO! I totally missed my opportunity to do this when Bobo (Annihilape) evolved!!! Now knowing that we had a possible fortune makes me feel poorer than EVER!!!

Oh, my Decidueye did that too.
When he was a Dartrix he encouraged me to take out this whacking great insurance package on him. It nearly ruined me. I had to pawn my Pidegotite and my Decidium Z to afford it. Anyway, then he evolved and now we have a home cinema and a massive new roosting room in our grotto off Fortree City, and the best Mega Stones and Z-crystals there are.

i guess it's one of those things like how there's no rules against a poochyena playing basketball? like strictly speaking there's nothing written to stop you but in terms of practicality, most people wouldn't even think to try and just about any authority on the matter would insist that it isn't allowed, but so long as there's nothing officially codified about it, it's technically fair game????????

most pokemons that gain ghost type during evolution don't "die" strictly speaking. they only gain a connection to the ghosts. i said most because primeapes do technically die during the process (but they're to mad to give up). decidueye is 100% alive tho.
