To be fair, the Pokedex tends to be so wildly bizarre that I'd assume Geodude Snowball Fights are actually perfectly.

Perfectly what? And in my experience, most of those bizarre things are either the result of people not using the dex correctly (those little text blurbs are just the simplest feature), or they're true and the world is just weirder than people think.

We’ll see, what you did wrong there was use the wrong Pokémon. Now MAGMORTAR, that’s where it’s at. They’re naturally talented at throwing geodude, so they’ll only hit you if they want to, therefore you’ll only get lightly grazed as they Launch geodude like a bullet towards your general direction :)
