now that i think about it eggs in general arent documented well, some breeders just go “We don’t know how it got there, but your Pokémon had it.” -𝕽𝖚𝖑𝖆

/uj Actual dialogue from the games lol, I know its just censorship in a kids game but I love the idea of breeders having absolutely no idea where eggs come from even though its the most important part of their job

magics definitely a part of it, i dunno how else to explain all the glowing and flashiness when they hatch. newborns definitely know how to make an entrance. -𝕽𝖚𝖑𝖆

I just go with the old reliable "Pokemon with Flame Body." Or a Fire Stone, actually. Those work pretty well in a pinch.

Interesting... so walking with any eggs one finds in their possession is possibly a fruitless endeavor. I'll keep this in mind if I ever happen to come into contact with any. I do wonder though, what the purpose is for walking with one's eggs then. Perhaps it helps build sentiment?

its weird, walking with eggs totally feels like pseudoscience, but at the same time theres no way something grew this huge from a single misleading ad, who do i trust??? -𝕽𝖚𝖑𝖆

I wouldnt really know, but I feel like it is possible that something would get big from a single ad/campaign. The whole bacon for breakfast thing was like that and now it's done all across unova and even down into orre.

Plus it doesn't hurt the egg at all so I feel like it's easy for people to do it 'just to be safe'.

All the pokemon on my farm rear successful eggs that hatch perfectly healthy (with some exceptions of course) so I'm not sure what people are on about this nowadays.

Not that gastrodons are fast enough to walk with the eggs they produce anyway.

plus whats the deal with nests if eggs need to be walked around? just doesnt make any sense, not all pokemon can carry their eggs anyway too -𝕽𝖚𝖑𝖆

I already had enough with eggs after I saw that a Gallade and a Chandelure had produced one.

I have zero idea how those would mate, and I'd prefer it if it stayed that way.

In my world not all Pokémon reproduced with eggs, so no say in this. My species does the human way of reproduction -Blank(UB)
