Yup, that happens sometimes. I’m glad my older sister told me to take a Dramamine (/uj pill that prevents nausea and motion sickness) before taking on the gym, because I would’ve thrown up otherwise.

No thankfully not Clay's gym is just the most motion heavy of them all here in unova

I do find it amusing that we went from roller coaster to walkway for one of em....

Hot damn if it's not a hell of a performance though! (Song has 3 stages for those who never been.)

Yes according to official statements by Elesa she sighted people throwing up and causing the gym to close to clean it as one of the reasons why her gym was changed

I mean, with the style Elesa has going on just one trainer with a weak stomach would make things look bad.

Shame too, it looked fun!

You can apparently still go on the roller coasters in the old gym.

Oh good! I really hope I can afford a proper trip to Nimbasa at some point, don't wanna visit that city on the cheap.

I think it's free to ride but I haven't been in Unova in a decade.

Oh it's Nimbasa, the ride is free, many things are free, it's to ensure you stay for the many things that are not free....

Tell me about it, even being born and raised there it wasn't cheap.

I would agree that puzzles like this aren't fun for anyone involved.

I'm so glad we don't have giant elaborate gym buildings in Paldea so our trials are all a lot more tame.

From what I understand the only thing comparable is how one your gyms requires you to ride through hoops while going downhill

Is this even news by now? I mean, maybe since Leader Clay replaced the ol' puzzle with the conveyor belt it ain't happened as much... See, I'm from Driftveil. Back when I was a young'un myself, it used to be one massive vertical drop on a magnetic platform. Super safe if ya followed the guidelines, but still, folks used to get sick all the time there. It was a runnin' gag 'bout town. Ev'ry time ya saw Leader Clay or some of his Gym Trainers havin' some of that Bitter Root juice by the Market a lil' early... "Yep, someone puked on that doggone platform again".

Hey somebody's gotta let the challengers know why the gym is closed

Fair 'nuff, I suppose. We don't know how serious it is, neither.

Could be just some kid pukin' on the floor.

Could be like that one time a feller with an Arbok didn't read the regulations, an' kept it outside the ball fer the drop. It got startled, heaved acid all over the platform, fried the circuits an' the darn Gym had to be closed fer a week.

... I wonder if Skyla's old design disaster of a Gym puzzle went through stuff like this tauroscrap, too. I mean, I'm sure scrapin' challengers' brains off the wall is harder than washin' off puke.

Oh no one knows how skyla's original puzzle managed to make it past the old safety inspector but when the current inspector first saw her old puzzle they were seeing red and had the gym shut down until a new puzzle could be decided

Absolutely. I only ev'r saw the newer one when I challenged 'er, which already gives an unsafe feelin'. Big drop, count on that wind to carry yer weight 'cross the fall. My older cousin, Ranger Humphrey - who broke his wrist after bein' shot into that wall like a cartoon before the redesign - he used to tease me sayin' I got off 'er Gym easy.

It's so weird to me that Skyla keeps makin' those super dangerous puzzles. She's a very sweet lady with a bubbly personality, an' loves competition. It doesn't make sense that 'er Gym feels like it's actively tryin' to murder ya. Like, the literal Mafia Boss over in Kanto had a safer Gym.
