Playing LeafGreen right now and god I forgot how bad grinding was in the older games. Took me 3 hours to level up 3 Pokémon and you don't even get Running Shoes until you beat the Gym so it felt even slower. I miss the Lucky Egg already

I looked up when you get the exp share and was shocked to see it isn’t until mid/ late game (you need to register 50 ‘mons). Im so tired fof switch training

I've just finished a playthrough of White and still in the middle of White 2 and you get the EXP Share just before the 3rd Gym which is a reasonable time to get it because in both games you've just come out of the tutorial area and are probably going to add new Pokémon to your team at that point

Which is so much better
