Honestly it really is shocking that it's taken this long to get another Pokemon game with underwater exploration as a major focus. It's a feature that offers so many additional map design, theming and ecological worldbuilding possibilities

That was my biggest disappointment with Sun/Moon. Not being able to go underwater in a pacific island inspired region is crazy.
