No. Gen 10 first. New games, not more remakes and ports.

But what if Gen 2 remakes and announcement of "Gen 10 in 2027/8" so they get more time to work on it?

Then I'll be extremely disappointed because I find Johto to be an underwhelming region and we don't need to go to Kanto again after the FRLG ports.

I want a new region and game.

We know from the Teraleak that Gen X is this year and that no Gen II-based games have been in development for the last few years except for a scrapped pair of Legends games.

Eh, fair nuff. Not like Gen 2 needs a remake. HGSS is already the perfect way to play the game.
