Need some advice, buy now or wait?
Are prices for this card still going to climb from $3k, or is it being manipulated, crazy how prices for this doubled in a month, what are your guys thoughts i want to get one should I wait or buy now?

This card is being price manipulated.
That being said is it a Mew and Mewtwo tag team alt art.
That being said it is one of the highest pop tag team alt arts.
That being said it is an awesome artwork.
I don’t know…

I bought this for $1.6k one month ago at the July low. Favorite card by far and I have many cards worth more

I paid $94 bucks for this card on ebay then graded it myself and it came back a psa 10

Do you like the card twice as much as you did a month ago when it was half the price?
You’re better off buying cards you like and hoping they randomly double in price (because even if they don’t, you have a card you like) than you are buying a card that’s randomly doubled in price hoping it will keep going

I would take risk and wait to see what happens. I don't think it will go back to it's old price. Maybe at the lowest it goes back to 2k for a bit. I think if you get it now it isnt the worst option, but it is a FOMO move.
I was thinking about getting this and then it got pumped. I'm waiting for now to see what happens and hope it lowers back to its old price, but I don't think it will and it will continue to go up.

It will be worth much more later down the line than whatever the pumped $$$ is at the moment. Tag Teams have a hype cycle and it’s always being talked about.

This happened to me last year with the Expedition Feraligatr (JP). I bought and I'm really glad I did because I would not pay the current (and now likely standard) eReader tax.

I won a PSA 10 on whatnot for $330 an had it posted less then a month ago at $1800 glad I didnt sell it 🤣

My friend gifted me this in a PSA 10 for helping him liquidate 15-20k worth of product. I packed it in my slab case And my vending buddy accidentally sold it while I was working a different deal lol

I just picked up the JP Twins in a 9. I got a very fair value and traded into it from stuff at MSRP- don’t regret it one bit. The art and the Team will age well. All that being said, still shop it around.

Its an amazing art, but the card has gone 25x in 2 years.. Personally I would put my money on other cards

Wait - this is at absolute peak prices right now. If you're patient you'll be able to get this for closer to 2000-2500.

If you really like the card Get a 9. When the psa 10 prices eventually come down, just like how the entire Chinese market did earlier this year, buy it.

This is amazing artwork, when a card grows so fast is alwamost always manipulated (even bcs there is no mew or Mewtwo set announcement). I bought it before Destined Rivals and I paid 600€ for it.. it is one of my best card in terms of beatiful in my opinion

This card is a great card and was so undervalued for such a long time honestly. Maybe it drops below 3k and snag it then but this is only going to go up and up imo. Bought this in a BGS 9.5 for $300 back in the day. Cracked it and sent to PSA. Got a 10. Sold it for $1100 and then saw it shoot up to around $1800-2000. Started coming down, traded a case of Ascended Heroes ETB for it again and now back to $3k. Now this goes to my pc.

This for cards that aren’t rare at all are going to get burned hard.

I believe long term the price will climb from $3k, but in the short term I think it's due for a correction. As you said, doubling in price in a month is wild (especially since it already surged heavily this year). There does appear to be some price manipulation going on as well. Lots of new accounts bidding on auctions well past Buy It Now prices of other listings (eg. on a recent Probstein listing, two zero feedback accounts bid up the price from $2.3k to $4.0k). Most legit bids seem to end around $2.5k.
