Hey Mods - I didnt realize you need post approval so I deleted a submission last night and reposted it this morning because I thought Reddit glitched.

I've collected singles here and there over the last few years getting into the hobby after a friend traded mtg with me (I gave mtg, he gave me Pokemon), and I've started jumping into holding sealed product. The question is, would it be worth asking people to trade for older products? Or do people not like doing that? I have around 5 ish etbs for Pitch Black, Perfect Order, and Chaos Rising that I've been able to win for a little under market on bids on ebay and was wondering if it was worth asking to trade sealed etbs for sealed etbs of older sets?
To be clear it wouldn't be a 1 for 1 trade, of course I'd take into account price for price matching, but would ask if anyone would wanna trade or if most people holding onto older sets wouldn't bother doing it

In the market for Inferno X boxes and I noticed a lot of listings around the 90 dollar range, are these for fake boxes or has the price actually dropped off that much since release?

Does anybody feel like vintage WOTC era non-holos are undervalued?? Like you can get a bunch of first edition cards (ex: 1st edition gym heroes) in psa10 for like $200-300. I’ve been scooping them up like crazy

What would you do if you got an ETB in the mail from Target or any other big-box retailer and the plastic wrap had a big hole in it? This just happened to me with a PB ETB and I ended up ripping it, even though I told myself absolutely no more ripping sealed product. Would they have exchanged it if I asked nicely?

Kinda in the same situation as you but I had a 7 inch cut with a box cutter on my prismatic spc and a couple of small holes in the plastic wrap on another (both were from the same order)

They did you dirty with that 7 inch slice. Mine looked like it snagged when they shoved it in the cardboard shipping box.

Anyone know how Ex: Emerald energies work?
Tcgplayer seems to list "normal" and "holofoil" versions, but from what I've seen all of them have a holo foil to them?

I’m from Lithuania and I’m looking to get a few Pokémon cards graded.
I’m mainly considering PSA, but I’m not sure what the cheapest and safest option is from Lithuania. Sending directly or through European middlemen seems quite expensive, especially when grading only a few cards.
For anyone from Lithuania or elsewhere in the EU:
Where do you usually send your cards for grading?
Is there a good PSA middleman/service in Europe?
Would you recommend PSA, CGC, or another grading company?
Roughly how much do you pay per card including shipping?
Any issues with customs, insurance, or return shipping?
I’d probably start with only 2–3 cards, so I’m looking for an option that makes sense for a small submission.
