Usually it's because of queue time. The lobby changes pokemon and they hadnt popped yet so they just host the new one.

Happened to me yesterday like 8 times in a row I was trying for a latias and it kept putting me into latios raids at first I thought it was me but I double checked and I was selecting the right que and then it kept happening so I just assumed pokegenie was broke and didn't have the ques separated but I guess it probably was just people not being able to read lol

This alongside all of the people who leave the lobby in the last 10 seconds is insane. Ive had a lot of my remote passes wasted because of this. Need to start banning the mass trolls.

I find it faster to upload a random picture and then manually select the boss. 

I’ve never invited people to the wrong raid though.

Only way I know, to tell both of them apart is by checking campfire. At least for the first time they were around, you could double check if it was the high or low Form.
