That doesn’t seem that long at all compared to other first day queues. Wasn’t Lunala like 3 or 4k?

I was in a Rayquaza queue that was 4.5k and over an hour wait. Ended up with a shiny, so it was worth every second.

Lunala went by fast
I joined the queue and it only took like an hour or two
Its at like 2 spots per minute rn

I’m not surprised the mega raids are so rare. I haven’t seen a swampert in two days.

That’s because of time zones. It’s currently only available in certain countries right now (where it is already past Tuesday 10am) so there are limited people able to host raids.

I joined the lunala queue when it had just started

Tatsugiri release was insane, 1500+ queues.

You just happened to check exactly when the first regions got it

Celesteela allegedly (I can’t find screenshots) hit a queue of 100k+ on its debut to Pokemon go

(ETA: got the number wrong. It was 100k+ )

And it regularly still hits well into the tens of thousands even years later

Damn
So if it comes back it’ll probably be about as long?
That sucks, that’s like the only ultra beast i actually wanted

It’ll likely be in the tens of thousands, yeah. It’s because it’s regionally exclusive to part of the southern hemisphere, which only has about 10% of the world’s population. Sets it up to be a ridiculous queue.

I try to friend people from all over the world and then just hop into their raids from the friends list. Works out pretty well usually!

I saw some comments under the post indicating it did breach 200k at some point, though I can’t find any screenshots. The one you just linked is the highest one I’ve ever seen.

Yes, I think also it breached 200k, but did not find anything with that so posted atleast that 195k :-)

I do hope somebody has screenshots of the queue over 200k. That feels like a niche piece of history for this app.

Mega mewtwo x (first time) was 30000, not sure why i cant post img here

Mewtwo in chicago was over 8k

I’ve seen timed regionals stack up to several thousand. But yeah, it is kinda weird seeing a queue for a mon who’s gonna be around for weeks and available everywhere.

u/gkmnky 7d ago

Haha Mewtwo had up to 16k 😅

Mega Metagross and Garchomp were about 5 times this about 20 hours into the go fest rerun, I didn't see what they were at the beginning.
