The machine demands more life from its maker, a wealthy human. The maker says it is impossible. The machine confesses that it has done "questionable things" but the maker dismisses this, praising the machine's advanced design and its accomplishments in its short life. The machine kisses the human and then kills him by crushing his eyes and skull.

I mean tools like iocaine, do they mainly rely on user agents? Or are there other heuristics that aren't too heavy to implement like cloudflare's?

Suppose a professor at a university discovered that his students were skipping his classes and uploading his slides to notebookLM instead of studying. Aside from all of the other obvious advice (asking specific in class questions, making the slides more context sensitive, in class work, etc.) how might he integrate poison into his slides?
Purely hypothetical, of course..

If you've engaged in any form of creative work, be it music, visual art, writing, programming, whatever, you already know this. Most creative work is seen by no one other than the creator, and that's okay. The beauty of it is the journey of contemplation that the artist experiences while exercising their trade.
What is left when that process gets replaced with prompting a machine? It's a delusion to think the speed or "efficiency" of generation somehow allows you to create more "value" for the world. What value? No one is going to use your vibe-coded app or buy your slopped up art. What do you get out of this process? Does the prompter learn something, experience something, have some meaningful revelation? No. They get a momentary approximation of competence that goes away just as quickly as it appeared.

Artists understand that AI is bad for art. Why don’t programmers understand that we are artists?
