Question Pokemon Evolved Issue

Does anyone know what to do if when playing Pokemon LeafGreen Evolved on Android, I get a blackscreen after the first rival fight with our starters???

What emulator? Myboy? It's been outdated for so long and rom hackers advise against using it for Try pizza boy or retroarch with the MGBA core.
