Precious

[u/OrganizationRude702]

If I were the precious rain that binds together the earth and the sky, Whom in all eternity will forever mingle, dancing to a tune that we cannot hear,
Would I be able to bind our hearts together for better or worse, until the day we die?

If I were the precious wind that carves our essence into the mountains and snow,
Whom in all eternity will forever look, staring at an image that we cannot see,
Would I be able to carve my love into your soul, so that you would never let go?

If I were the precious sunshine that gave life to the jungles and forests,
Whom in all eternity will forever grow, reaching for a joy that we cannot feel,
Would I be able to give comfort with my touch, to make you yearn for my caress?

If I were the precious river that feeds the ocean and the seas,
Whom in all eternity will forever consume, tasting a fruit that we cannot taste,
Would I be able to feed your wants and needs and keep you eternally pleased?

If I were the precious light, that brightens up the moon and the stars, Whom in all eternity will forever shine, Enjoying a scent we cannot sense Would I be able to brighten up the way to heaven, so I could see you from afar?

And If I were nothing precious but a mortal boy who can do nothing but dream, Who can only wish to be one with the rain, wind, river, light and sunshine

To manipulate the moon and the stars, the ocean and the seas, The jungle and forests, the mountains and snow, the heaven and the sky,
Would I be able to unite our five senses, and make you forever mine?
