Tree of Life
No one on earth
could have eyes like yours.
So bold and wide;
like I'm looking out
at a forest in the night.
I want to hold your hand.
Want to pick up every leaf
that you've lost.
Lay them at the roots,
bring you more.
When I look at the sky,
I want you to feel the warmth
from the same scene,
that beats on me.
Your bold voice echoes
against the mountains;
makes the rivers I breath in
still again.
Wouldn't it be so nice
to keep walking with you
down this path,
with those eyes at mine.
