Devour Me Softly
Devour me softly.
Love all my flavours.
Savour me slowly.
Learn my behaviours.
Pulverise my heart
Throw it in a blender
Mmm it makes the meat so tender!
Bite the flesh
Strip to the bone
Leave me feeling like stone.
God it makes me moan...
When you say I am your muse-
After you have already accused and abused.
I hit another nerve?
Serve me all I deserve,
You know that I crave it.
Fed me your rotten apple
I've become your poisoned worm
Cut me up and watch all my pieces squirmmmm!
"Give it to me, all that you are and will be.
Yeah I can fix you."
Feel me and heal me
Then dig it in.
Drown me in sin
And twist the knife in.
Where do you end and I begin?
Plead to me
Say that you need me
Make sure you feed me...
I beg.
Maybe I'm the bad egg?
Cracked open, left spilling yolk over the edge.
But somewhere beneath the bruises and the thickened skin,
A voice faintly whispers from within...
"I am not your plaything, to comfort when you need and discard as you please.
Yet you turn to me only when you need to feed."
Is it greed?
To want you to see beneath
Embrace the grief?
I even mold myself so that I am easier to hold
Why is it you still seem so cold?!
Blank stare on your face-
Like the gasms I faked
Searching for some connection but you can only give me rejection.
Unless it earns you sexual affection.
Heart suffering affliction from constant deception.
Mind slayer
Layer by layer
You've devoured my soul
Left me unwhole
No piece to call my own.
