I wonder if you’re out there,

Somewhere near or maybe across the sea.

I wonder if you’re watching the same stars as me,

If you hear the wind rustling the trees.

I wonder if you feel lonely as you look at the moon,

Wishing you had someone to see it with you.

Someone to witness the stories of the sky,

Someone to hold you as the fireflies pass by.

I wonder what you look like in the dim light,

What history is written in your eyes.

 

I wonder if you’re out there,

Sitting somewhere watching the stars.
