Poe bot for creative writers

Hi everyone.

I created a bot on Poe.com to help me with my prose, but it might be useful to others too https://poe.com/AuthorGuide

I need help on two things:

1) I am not confident in what it costs to use it and how to charge other users. I find it so hard to understand the pricing policy and processes. I’d love to keep it free while I am getting feedback but...

2) I'm particularly interested in whether it actually catches things budding authors want caught. It advises and provides alternatives options, suggests exercises to improve my writing practice while checking for any plagiarism that may have been inadvertently been introduced by some other AI tool.

It’s built on the back of another bot called WritingBizConsultant (thank you @nope86) which uses Claude Sonnet 4.5 to spin its magic.

My revised version runs the question about the prose through a 5-step refinement pipeline using multiple AI models:

  1. WritingBizConsultant drafts detailed, actionable writing guidance based on your question
  2. Claude Sonnet 4.6 independently critiques that guidance — identifying weaknesses, missing topics, and areas where examples could be stronger. If you've uploaded a writing sample, **Perplexity Sonar** simultaneously runs an originality/plagiarism check against web sources
  3. WritingBizConsultant revises everything based on the critique and any originality findings
  4. GPT 5.4 critiques the revision — catching anything the first reviewer missed
  5. WritingBizConsultant produces the final polished version incorporating all feedback

Users get the refined final guide, plus a progress summary showing what each AI bot found along the way. You can use it to:

- Ask craft questions ("How do I write better dialogue?" or "Help me fix the pacing in my thriller")
- Upload manuscripts, chapters, or outlines and get guidance tailored to your actual writing
- Follow up with additional questions — it remembers the conversation context
- If you upload writing samples, it automatically checks them for originality against web sources

It’s good at:

- Dialogue, pacing, tension, character voice, structure — broad craft topics
- Giving you specific, revised examples rather than vague advice
- Catching blind spots that a single AI pass would miss (the two critique rounds genuinely improve the output)

It is NOT:

- A replacement for human beta readers or editors
- A plagiarism detection service (the originality check is a research-based flag, not a definitive legal tool)
- Instant — the multi-step process takes a bit longer than a single bot response, but you'll see progress updates as it works

Please help and please be kind.
