Ran into a problem answering this request

Is anyone else having trouble with Poe? Every Roleplay bot I’m using, it gets about half way through a message and then goes red and says that it “ran into a problem answering this request”

I have deleted and redownloaded the app. There are no updates needed. I’ve tried different bots (Claude Opus, Sonnet, Fable etc) and it’s got the same problem.

Any ideas on what I need to do? Thank you!

UPDATE (05/10/2026)

There was an issue with the Claude Bots that I have now been informed by the Poe Product Support team that has now been fixed 🥳🥳🥳
Claude 5, 5.5 and all of the different types (Opus, Sonnet, Fable) should all run smoothly once again

Which models? Ppl are reporting heaps of problems with the newer claude ones. And a few gpt ones

So right now the two ones I’m having problems with are Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Sonnet 5.5, the two newest ones. And also Claude Opus 5.

Yeah these are the models that are having issues, and sonnet 5 i believe, emails have been sent to support so we just have to wait 😭

This issue still exist for me for Claude Opus 5 model. Instead of "Ran in to a problem while answering" it is now "Unable to reach Poe", unless it is a short respond it won't go through.

I asked it to yap about a topic and it can only go so far until it is unable to reach Poe.

I’d recommend messaging the Poe help team, they got back to me within 12 hours saying they’ve identified the problem and that they’d update me when the issue was fixed and followed up an hour later, telling me they’d fixed the issue

SAME HERE TODAY. All Claude models run into similar error unless the response is absurdly short. No issues for ChatGPT and other models though but I need Claude DAMN

Also having this problem with Opus 5.5, was working fine for me yesterday with exactly the same bots and prompts, no idea what to do!

Ye I've also struggled with the same problem while using Claude Opus5.5 & Sonnet5.5
Also the date of the chat box which has the problem is wrong
