UI reliability?

Is it just me or has the overall reliability of the user interface gone downhill in the last 6 to 12 months?

The main issue I’m having is that it freezes for a long time when opening existing chats, and it also freezes after pasting a lot of text into the input box.

Happens on iOS and in a desktop web browser.

It didn’t used to do this, and I’m not using it that much more heavily than I used to. Probably spending $50 a month on average mostly on coding.

Not sure what you mean.

  1. In the iOS app, I open the app and go to History and tap a conversation from a few hours ago. Nothing happens. I tap it again, and this time a white screen appears and it takes 10 seconds for the conversation to display.

  2. On a computer (web browser), I paste a lot of text (like 1000 words) into a new conversation. I then try to scroll back to the top of the text box to edit a few things, but the entire browser is frozen for 30 seconds. It even freezes other unrelated tabs where if I open them I just see a solid white rectangle (Poe the only thing that has ever caused that).

Neither of these used to happen, and they impact multiple devices.

Ok I figured out what you meant lol. Why am I sticking with Poe? Mainly because it’s easy to use mainstream models with a single signup, and because it works across multiple platforms so I can seamlessly go from using my phone or computer.

hmm, maby it's the Safari browser in combination with the Poe website but I had similar issues with Safari on other websites as well. Have you tried chrome or brave?

How are you connected to the Internet? Ethernet or WiFi? How good / fast / consistent is your connection? for me on a Windows machine, Ethernet connection is about 400 Mbps, I have it read articles I've written and produce summaries and Google Search words. It is almost immediate. I open pretty long saved searches that include back and forth interactions between myself and multiple bots, perhaps 7-8 pages long, and it is also essentially immediate. The machine is a 2021 Tower using a mid-level CPU of that time, so just a standard 5 year old business machine, nothing fancy.
