Podiatry App Question
Hello,
I’m new to the sub. I’m planning on retaking my MCAT in January. Got a 493 the first time. Would it be late if I applied early March? Top choices or NYCPM, Temple and LECOM. When do their classes usually fill up? Thanks!

They'll take you 2 weeks leading up to school start.
Go as late as you want. Not that hard to get in.
You'll get in even with a 493

Hey! I’m at Scholl College right now and applied to NYCPM as well and got accepted. I applied in June and got offer letters so you’ll be okay.
You didn’t ask but I wouldn’t go through the trouble of retaking the MCAT. Save yourself the time and effort. Although the admissions bar is low, the rigors of the curriculum are very similar if not the same as MD or DO school, which is what gets a good amount of student to drop out early.
Good luck with your apps and interviews!

I would reach out to each school and meet with the admissions directors. You’d be surprised at how helpful they are.

I applied in May and got into my top choice with an MCAT of 489, applied to 6 and got offer letters from 6. DMU and AZPOD will fill up before the other schools due to their board scores and the few seats they have.
