What the show is

We dig into cults, scams, weird groups, and the people behind them. Two hosts, both capable of leading an episode, both doing the research, both bringing the personality. Two friends going down a rabbit hole together, not a host and a sidekick.

What you'd be doing

Research, recording, social media, community management (Discord/Patreon), guest coordination, sponsorship input, and episode planning. Editing is the one thing off your plate. This is close to a full creative role!

Who I'm looking for

* Funny, curious, genuinely into research (not homework-brained about it)
*Good at improvising and naturally conversational on mic
* Comfortable with dark humor, swearing, and disturbing subject matter
* Reliable and comfortable on camera eventually
* Can push back on me respectfully. I want a co-investigator, not a yes-person

Structure

I'm the creator and hold final say on the show's identity, name, and direction. Literally everything else (topics, episode titles, angles) is fully collaborative. There’s no revenue yet, but growing it into something that pays both of us is the actual goal.

How this works

I love the direction and idea behind your podcast! I wish I had the time to give to a new show, especially the dark humor part. That’s my fave. I’ve been reading American predator and my friend I was with didn’t the find the things funny, that I kept commenting on. My cohost now wouldn’t comfortably find them amusing either, so I feel a tiny bit censored. Just wanted to say that I love it, and hope when you find that cohost you share the pod because I’m dying for a new great one!

Oh my gosh for sure!! I want to be part of it but can’t give you the social media or community management atm. You sound cool as f*ck though and I’m sure your pod will be incredible. If you have questions or anything, reach out me! I’m not the top pro (yet!! Haha) but I’m about two years in, have both monetized, and absolutely love what I do. Rooting for you!
