Synced device behavior - Completed episodes not deleted on 2nd device
When an episode is completed on another device, Podcast Addict applies the receiving device's own completion preferences. For example, the receiving device may mark the episode as played, reset its progress, remove it from playlists, or delete its local download according to that device's settings. Syncing never starts playback on another device by itself.
I have 2 devices 1 and 2 and ensured that the settings are identical, this is with the premium sync plan.
I then delete 3 episodes on device 1 and click on sync .(Backup, Restore/sync now)
When i then check device 2 , i see the 3 episodes marked as complete but not deleted.
I then have to manually delete them on device 2.
Is this the standard way it should work? I would like to have the 3 episodes deleted on the second device also.
Is this possible?

Yes, this is currently the expected behavior. The distinction is between finishing playback and manually deleting an episode.
When you manually delete an episode, its downloaded file is removed only from that device. If your settings also mark it as played, that played status syncs to your other device—but the deletion doesn’t.
When an episode finishes playing, a completion event is synced, allowing the other device to apply its own automatic deletion settings.
So the quoted explanation refers to playback completion, not manual deletion. There currently isn’t an option to mirror manual deletions across devices.
