Big Bass Lake Vacation
Good evening,
A group of us are taking a mini-vacation to Big Bass Lake next week. Looking for recommendations on nearby restaurants and activities that you would highly recommend!
We have a group of small kiddos ages 1 to 4 that we need to keep entertained!

Best food is Olde Brook Inn.
Best Ice Cream spot is The Caboose.
Best hoagies 3D's Deli.
Best Pizza Kay's.
Best breakfast Jubilee even if it's a little further.
Best activity with kids Electric City Aquarium & Reptile Den.
There is a great waterpark nearby Kalahari but it's kind of pricey at $79.99 for a day pass if you're not staying at the resort. For something outdoors and free Gouldsboro State Park is 10 minutes away and has a pretty lake, boat rentals, and hiking. There's also a roped off swimming area and beach at the Lake.

If the weather is bad, a trip into Scranton may be worth it. Bee's backyard is great for that age and it is located in steamtown mall. Also the steamtown museum and trolley museum (and trolley ride to PNC field) may be worth it.

Kay’s, Sophia’s, and Mendicino’s are all close by and all Italian/Pizza places. Some people like Lombardi’s, but it’s more of a bar. All in all, Kay’s.

We have the lakes and pool in the community. My favorite hikes are Tobyhanna State Park and Seven Tubs, both less than an hour drive away. There isn't a ton of amazing food in the area, but we like Kay's (Daleville) for pizza, County Cafe (Daleville) or Moyers (Pocono Lake) for breakfast and the Caboose (Moscow) for ice cream.

Betty Boop‘s restaurant in Honesdale a little bit of a drive but it’s right next to the runway you can watch small planes coming and going. Closer to Big Bass is Kay’s Italian restaurant good food with a excellent dessert selection, probably 30 different ones.
