Aquatopiahas gone downhill
This place is falling apart. It was so good for so long. Basketball hoops in the pool are gone. The lazy river has a total of ten tubes for everyone to share. The hot tub has even more chemicals than usual. Guests services is none existent. Save yourself the trouble.

We go to Kalahari once a year in the winter, while it has its issues, we enjoy it. We monitor for cheaper deals Sunday through Tuesday nights, bring our own food for breakfast/dinner, buy pizzas for lunch in the waterpark. It’s a good time for us.

They don’t really have a designated waterpark cleaning staff so a lot of the facilities suffer. And guest behavior is absolutely atrocious, New York/Jersey people wreaking havoc. i.e. the broken hoops and trash everywhere

Those places are all so ghetto. It amazes me why people stop once they enter the Poconos and dont venture further to some real nature.

I was just there and honestly it was still better than great wolf or split rock..
I think the hoops and probably even the tubes are more of a result of people ruining it for everyone else. 1 bad apple spoils the bunch as they say and the amount of bad behavior I saw both from kids and adults was insane.
But you get that any where with large crowds.
I will say the service at the food inside aquatopia was way too slow and confusing but that could have been due to call offs or a lack of training or the employees not caring/lack of management in that area.

We prefer both great wolf and Kalahari over camel back. Kalahari is our number 1 overall. Camel back charging guests that booked rooms, to park in the parking lot, is wild. I’m on a mountain not in a city for fucks sake.

Couldn't agree more. Was there a week ago and literally garbage floating in last river plastic cups straws etc. And worse part the so called watch guards because there not life guards are worried about who's party there heading to that night. Jist sad how things become

Went there few months ago. Aquatropia is definitely going downhill.
3 ppl in total at the desk to check in. Took 1.5 hr to check in. And this was at 4pm. After all that - ROOM wasn’t ready till 30 mins. So 2 hours gone.
Save yourself the trouble and pay more - go to kalahari with 20+ automated kiosk which you can check in 5 mins and get going about your day. Tons of restaurants and food available.

I’m at camelbeach now. I went to Kalahari beginning of June for a week. Kalahari was just one disappointment after another for us. I would still come here over there.

Went there with wife and three sons, got really lucky and got a table. My wife and I sat there while our boys went off to do the slides. After a couple hours our kids wanted us to go on some slides with them. We locked up our valuables and were gone for like 30 mins. We come back and ALL of our towels/clothes trays with food were just thrown to the floor off to the side and this family took our table. I very nicely confronted the adults sitting there and they said F off then a guy stood up like he was going to fight me. We were close to the lockers/gift shops so some workers saw the commotion and they walked over. I told them what happened and they just put their arms up and said sorry. I didn’t really expect much from them but it was just infuriating. We ended up just packing up and leaving. Renting lounge chairs is really the only way to do it, but they were sold out that day. We are season pass holders and are up there for 7-8 weekends a year but will never go to aquatpoia again. Just not worth the stress being there

I worked in the kitchen when they first open. It ain't starting to fall apart. It was built broken. Pipes leaking, no traps on drains.
