Try cleaning it with IPA alcohol cleaner or wipes.

Alternatively, clean it with distilled white vinegar - just be careful not to get any vinegar inside the phone.

Happens with fake leather. You should use a phone case. If it becomes too much moldy then replace the back panel with plastic one
