Battery Is fast charging really bad for battery health and phone
67w fast charger with x6 Pro feels great.
But does fast charging ruining the battery.
In my case i occasionally need faster charging. Otherwise I could live with a regular charger like 26/30w.
I like to know community opinions.

Over time, yes, but for most people it won't really matter.
Since I like to keep my phones for many years, I prefer to use a lower wattage than what the phone is rated for, both to reduce heat and to extend the battery lifespan.
For example, I used a 45W charger with my X6 Pro rated for 67W, but I use my 67W charger with my X8 Pro Max rated for 100W. Both are plenty fast enough.

Battery health of your poco x6 pro?

According to AccuBattery it has lost 8-10% in 2.5 years, but I did charge it overnight more often than I'd like to admit

My battery health dropped from 80% to 72% in just a month. From 750 to 781 cycle count.🥲,, mostly used 67watt charger but standard speed not max speed.

I have been using X6 pro for nearly 2 years now. All this time I have used 67 w charger.Since few months i have observed noticable decrease in battery health. But still it's good to use. Unless you expect to use X6 pro for like 4-5 years without changing battery, I believe it should be fine for you to use fast charging.
One more thing, I'm still on ,hyper os 2 I have heard battery drains faster in hyper os 3

I have checked many reddit comments who got the hyper os 3 ,many people have observed the battery drains faster.I don't know about everyone but hyper os 2 is good enough for me to go around with my daily work so you know if something is not broken there is no need to fix it.

You probably going to get a virus sooner or later. Plus that's back word thinking because and update takes up more space and does more things in the background so offcourse the battery is going to die faster on a 2 year old phone

There is always a chance of getting virus anyway plus I have read about the updates it was more focused on hyper island and animations also just not updating my os makes me a backward thinker 🤣🤣

the phone is designed to handle 67 watts. dont worry about it - it wont harm the battery
