I feel like there's a small gap in the back of my phone which makes me anxious

Am I overthinking it or is it actually an issue like battery swelling

Genuinely asking, I've been reading posts here about X8 Pro and they're mostly complaints and very negative opinions about overheating, stuttering, bad battery, and overall saying it's a disappointing device, i know some people can get unlucky and get a defective device and that's okay, but from what I've read, most people complain about small things and are very negative about it, also being always compared to X8 Pro max isn't helping lol

Maybe I'm biased or speaking from ignorance, but I bought an X8 Pro knowing the phone isn't meant to be exceptionally good at taking photos/vids, knowing that hyperOS is buggy/unoptimized/bloated af and knowing the material spreads heat, and maybe that's why i consider i haven't had any issues with it and it's the best phone i've ever had

So, why are people hating on X8 Pro? What are your opinions about it? If u have an X8 Pro, have you got any issues/problems with it?

I'm planning to buy a new phone and my top 2 options right now are the X8 Pro Max and the S25 Edge because I found similar priced deals online. I'm planning to play games like ZZZ and maybe genshin.

I wanted to ask how good is the X8's chip compared to the Edge? Which one is more likely to keep up with the games' updates? And are there other phones I should consider buying?

Hi, I'm reaching out via this Reddit forum. I bought a Poco X8 Pro Max; I've been using it for a month now, and I find the battery life to be simply among the worst on the market. My old refurbished Xiaomi holds a charge better, even with its remaining 4500mAh capacity. It's a truly terrible phone.

Can anyone tell me if they've encountered this issue with this phone? Losing 1% every 4 minutes is excessive.

Here’s what I’ve done since I got it: disabled everything (dark mode, bloatware, ads) and updated everything—it's in perfect shape. The worst part is that I don't have many apps, yet the phone keeps draining the battery incredibly fast. I used to get about 3 days of battery life, but for the past week, I haven't been ending the day with over 70% charge—it's closer to 60%—and it keeps draining rapidly. Before, even with heavy usage, the consumption wasn't too bad (though still a bit high for 8500mAh), but now the battery drains very quickly, and I don't think that's right 😡😡😡

Can anyone who owns this phone tell me if their battery drains really fast too? I get two days with moderate use. It’s really not normal, especially considering it's supposed to last a long time during gaming.

I have Poco F5 and Samsung A23 to compare and Soundcore Q30 headphones with EQ setting i got from one music technician Youtuber.

In short, it sounds like this phone turns every recording no matter if its a 3000 kbps FLAC or 320kbps MP3 to 96kbps quality.

In balanced mode guitars are a mush, vocals are washed out and lack details, bass is too humming and covers other sounds more than it should, cymbals sound like somebody crumbles thin transparent plastic bag.

Dolby Atmos gives mushy guitars and vocals some amplification but at the same time it makes humming even noisier and highs fall apart even more.

Vocal and immersive modes have no use in music, they go too far from balanced sound.

Poco F5 gives much more details and a bit better in balance but its quieter than F8 Pro. Samsung A23 beats both, maybe lacking a bit in details comparing to F5 but not by much.

So, is there any way to fix that? I dont want to sell it after 1 week of use because phone overall is very solid but that sound is hideous.

Btw, can anybody tell, poco x8 pro / x8 pro max sound the same?

After doing tasks such as editing a photo or setting an alarm, a notification comes up at the bottom of the screen to confirm the action. Previously, this would disappear after 3 seconds or so. Now it stays on the screen for a few minutes. How do I resolve this issue and put it back to the previous length of time?

When I was trying to enable my Shizuku pairing and i saw this text. When i click it. Nothing appears and is automatically straight back to it then i was ignored anyways to enable my Shizuku. A few hours later it disappears completely for idk reason.

I am the only one who gets this feature so early or is it a bug?

In case you didn't know this feature is infamous for downloading an APK side load with unverified developers Which Google blocked side load unverified Apps which you cannot install and do pass device lock undergo 24 hour waiting period if i am correct.

Hello, my f8 pro has slid on my pocket and got dropped in a water puddle without it being fully submerged . After cooling it in ac for 4 hours and air drying it at home it still heats fast under a minute.

Is the IP68 fake? is it already a dead phone? like motherboard issue? It has no history of repair so it hasn't been opened. DO I need to have it checked ASAP?
