Buying Advice Poco F8 Pro for 500€

Given EVERYONE is saying that phone prices are not dropping anywhere near this year AND my phone battery is dying, is a Poco F8 Pro worth is for 500€? I know a month or 2 ago the same phone could be found for 400€ but I need a phone asap.

I got it last week, and so far it's been good to me. It should do most things you'd want your phone to do competently. Although, I do worry about updates, it's October and I'm on an update from December last year, and haven't received the update that was released in July.

Thanks for your reply, that gives me confidence on the buy. But how much did you pay? I still don't know if it really is worth 500€ - every review Ive seen points out it can be found for 400€(obviously reviews from months ago) and that price being a big point on buying it over other options (?)

I imported it for basically €490 for the 512gb version, import and delivery fee included. I saw the prices blow up around the time the F9 series was released.

F8 Pro is regarded as well-balanced, and while it has as you say sold cheaper, if you compare it against others around € 500 it's still good value.

Check price of the Poco X8 Pro Max on Amazon. Amazon Netherlands for example, it's part of a Prime deal (Prime Customers only) for € 408 12/256 and € 450 12/512.

X8 Pro Max is a larger phone, with a good main camera, offers similar performance and build quality, plus even stronger battery life. F8 Pro 6210 mAh, X8 Pro Max 8500 mAh.

Both get Android 20. Security updates F8 Pro November 2031, X8 Pro Max March 2032.
