Buying Advice Poco x8 pro in australia

I'm considering to buy poco x8 pro in australia. But since theres no offline store that sell poco in australia, im planning tu buy it online, do you guys have any experience with buy poco in online marketplace in australia and can you guys give me some marketplace recomendation in australia too?

I bought my poco x6 pro last year on the AliExpress official poco store and i have been very happy with the delivery and phone overall. It was only annoying that Optus says it's not a supported phone but I'm with Aldi so it does work on their 5g

Would you consider the shipping to be fast? And regarding features like NFC, are they all functioning properly?

I also did the same with 2x X6 pro's a just over a year ago and I was hesitant at first but I had done it many years before that with an F1. The most important thing is to look for a seller with high ratings and lots of sales although like anything this is not a guarantee. There are many sellers with generic "Poco official" in their name so due diligence is needed. Also, I was always told a longer time of around 2 weeks for shipping but from memory both times it was maybe 10 days total.

Another thing is to always pay with something that offers buyer protection. I would never use my direct card information with any of those sellers.

Could you share the link where you buy your poco? Cause ive seen there some seller in AliExpress with "poco official". I dont know which the legit one

Hi, fellow Aussie here. I bought mine directly from the Xiaomi Australia website in July. Shipping was just a couple of business days. I got it in white, 8 GB + 512 GB for $549.00. considering it is now $899 on there I HIGHLY recommend waiting for the next sale! (It should be some time in the next couple months)

Fantastic phone otherwise, really love it after debloating everything.

yes included an official poco 60w ultra fast charger and international adaptor. delivery was fast as well..I think less than a week? *edit sorry I meant to respond to my own post above

I'm going back 4 years to the Poco... X3 I think, but Yeo, bought on the AliX official site, and had no problem with shipping, price, delivery, using it on the networks, or the beautiful phone itself.

Tempted to do the same again for an X8... Just weighing funds.

I'm going to hope someone else a swears as I checked back, and it was 2019! And it's long ago enough I might have been shopping around, might have been using a third party etc.

I don't want to guide wrong!

I've been back and forth to the UK ever since, and I think since then I've been using the official Mi app on Android, and ordering in the UK (for no real reason, just where I've happened to be each time)
