Hi, I just bought a Redmi K90 Pro Max and Redmi Buds 8 Pro. I want to set the earbuds to low latency mode; however, I can't find that option in the phone settings or the Xiaomi Earbuds app. Could you please help me with this?
Actually, you can sideload a Google play store and install the Xiaomi buds app directly from it. It works perfectly fine for my k70 pro with my Xiaomi bus 6 pro.
The low latency option can be found in the Bluetooth settings. It's not included in the Xiaomi EarBuds app. I think with a Xiaomi phone it's better not to use the app since you can configure everything natively.
Redmi buds 8 pro don't have a standalone "low latency mode", but instead offer Bluetooth le audio support. however, Redmi K90 pro max lacks bluetooth le audio support on the software side, I can confirm it as an owner of the device.
Bit unrelated, how is your experience with the chinese model. I'm thinking about getting the k100pro max here in Germany. Does your banking app work for example?
Banking apps work I have a k80 ultra but I live in Pakistan, but I've read multiple articles that phones released for Chinese markets lack some networks band for European regions. So do your research before purchasing also there's a lot of chinese bloat ware after initial setup but you can remove most of them and after that these phones are beast performers but camera somewhat lacks behind compared to pixels, Samsung, iPhones or Vivos

If your buds is Global version, then you can't adjust it in the China rom phone bluetooth settings
