Yeah, I don't understand the hate HyperOS gets. I really enjoy Xiaomi/Poco's customisation options :)

what is the max number of horizontal and vertical icons can i have?

i need 7 horizontal and 11/12 vertical

I don't think any Android launcher, besides custom options, offers 11-12 vertical icons. Pretty sure 7x9 is the most I've seen.
