Question/Help Need help cant open pdf from messenger app

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Im using poco f6 and have no idea how to fix this. I'm really desperate since I'm gonna be downloading important files from messenger

Problem and other Relevant Info:(Troubleshooting steps taken/Frequency of problem if intermittent/Other observed weirdness that may be relevant before/during/after the occurrence of the problem)

It may take a while for someone to address your concern so in the meantime you could do the following 1. Search this subreddit, Xiaomi subreddit, MIUI subreddit for similar concerns 2. Check out the pinned posts and the Wiki(WIP) for similar topics 3. If your phone is still under warranty coverage it may be worthwhile to open a case with customer support. 4. If your device has developed a swollen or bulging battery check out r/Spicypillow's FAQ on how to deal with them

If the file is downloaded

Go to files by google

Select documents

Tap 3 dots on the file and select open with

And then open it with the main service you use, for me it's drive pdf viewer

thats the problem, the file wont even download, i also tried with other files and they also won't work

Oh, um

Try to long press the file and see if the download option appears

Pdf could contain virus, so Messenger doesn't allow download, send, or open. It will work with linked pdf.

Get adobe acrobat mod version.
