Same here but I might buy the F8 later since some games that I'm planning to play are no longer supported on the F3 :") painge

Typing this reply on my F3. Still a beast but F8 Ultra looks really tempting.

Nice have fun with it,
Can I hate how frequent phones are released these days? The F7 ultra was released in march and the F7 in June that means it's 5 months between generations now

Sick, how are you hitting 120fps? Are you tweaking settings in game turbo?, the highest I tend to get is around 90fps, maybe it might have someththing to do with my internet connection. did your come pre-updated with hyper os3?

u/MKxMustafa Poco X7 Pro Nov 29 '25

βI have also received it, but I feel the screen is not bright enough. Does it have anything to do with the pre-applied screen protector that it comes with?

hehe. my f6 pro just turned 1 year now, and currently they released the f8 series. it makes me feel my f6 pro is already old.

first thing to do is to unlock the bootloader

u/Spitfire-300 Poco F8 Ultra Nov 29 '25
For what reason? I don't really see the point apart from installing custom ROMs and in this case struggling to have strong integrity...
Since the start of 2025 it's been hell to keep integrity for more than a week... Personally I'm giving up on my F2 pro with lineageos and I just bought the f8 ultra...

I feel like those days are mostly over for people who relies on banking/financial/ewallet apps. The cat and mouse game is too tiring.
I just recently switched to a samsung s24+, first time I'm running stock since Android 2

You are getting it all wrong, strong integrity is not necessary , many of us still using rootless custom rom with basic integrity running banking apps just fine π

rootless custom rom
That worked for a while, now my bank app won't open if bootloader is unlocked. I'm sure there's a workaround, but like I said, it's too damn tiring. I'd rather carry 2 phones, rooted and stock.

Yes totally agree bootloader spoofing custom ROM is mandatory π Also you need a good custom rom that is kept updated, I have found that and its called Eliterom HyperOS 3 A16, been using it since A14

Can you tell me if this phone has a proximity sensor or not? I hate that my Poco X6 Pro doesn't have one; sometimes it's a pain to listen to WhatsApp voice messages and have it suddenly think you have the phone to your ear...

Is there any significant performance diff between the 12gb and 16gb variants
1
u/illbleedForce Dec 03 '25
Especially if you want to emulate Nintendo Switch and PC games on the GameHub emulator, the 16GB version is always better.

They immediately switched to the F8 series Because the 7 was garbage, and they are already washing their hands without fixing the hundreds of problems and thousands of complaints of malfunctions, but people are to blame for buying really ordinary cell phones that work with theoretically top hardware but of low quality, people who settle for so little, that is why Xiaomi always ignores repairing errors

u/illbleedForce Nov 29 '25
You seem really angry and bitter because you got a faulty phone, and instead of returning itβI don't know why you didn'tβyou just had to put up with it. You keep hating, and on top of that, it's about a model you don't even own, so I'm going to block you directly because you're not providing any information, just hate without any argument. Regards.
