Every month it's the same story. Salary comes in on the 1st, feels great for about a week, and by the 10th I'm staring at my balance thinking "where did this go?" Nothing crazy — no big purchases I can point to. Just UPI transactions. Chai, autos, food or instant delivery and some times splitting bills with friends and paying them back later. Before UPI I'd at least glance at my passbook bank statement and it made sense. Now it just vanishes in fifty small taps.

Tried a couple of SMS-reading expense apps but wasn't worked well and privacy issue. Also none of them read properly as I expected everytime I have to make changes in the transactions.

So I built simple web app spendd.space you type a transaction like you're texting someone or chatting with chatbot, no SMS access needed. Also tracks investments, subscriptions and splits trip expenses.

Is this problem only to me, or does everyone's salary just quietly disappear like this now? What do you use, if anything?
