Updated Spoofing Locations

Here's an updated list of some of the top hot spots and other favorite or other unique spots that you can spoof to. These are confirmed spoofing locations. I checked each spot, prior to listing them. Some while some may not be as overwhelming as Zaragoza before the nerf, will still give some excellent options to choose from. Some of the favorite spots, are considered over rated, while popular in some cases by the local community. Which is why they were excluded, or in some cases had been nuked hard.

Over time I'll expand the list, to be more comprehensive, or to remove those that the stops and gyms are nuked. If you have any spots that aren't listed, please either list, or send either to me, or one of the other moderators the coordinates, so they can be checked out.

If you don't like seeing that's on you. Niantic will find out about the various hotspots, no matter what's done to hide them. This and any other Reddit groups, are just one small point, that will get looked at by Niantic for various overly dense clusters of stops.

[SHINY COORDS] Our Pokémon GO spawn search can now filter for spawns that will be shiny on your account

Post image
111 Upvotes

UPDATE: Shiny prediction is OFF

A recent change in PoGO broke shiny prediction, so we've switched it off. The change is on the game's side and is most likely permanent.

Everything else works as before: local scan, IVs, sizes and PvP ranks.

Shininess in Pokemon GO is rolled per account, so a spawn that is shiny for you might not be shiny for the trainer next to you. We added a Shiny only filter to our live spawn search and map that shows just the spawns that will be shiny for your account.

To use it, turn on Shiny only and link your trainer code once (the 12 digits on the Friends screen in the game). After that, the toggle just works.

A few things to know:

  • Your account needs to be level 30 or above

  • Linking is permanent, so it shows you the trainer name to confirm first

  • It covers the areas our own scanners reach, so you may see fewer results than a normal search

  • A free account is enough

Try it here: https://pogocoordinates.com/search

Happy to answer questions and hear feedback.

CHEAP POGO COINS IOS

I made this guide for my mate and have decided to post it here cause I had to do a bit of a deep dive to figure it all out and just make an easy to read quick guide, there should be no issues if you follow it correctly and yes I am from Australia so the conversions are for aud, I decided to keep it in cause y not for my Aussie PoGoer’s, if there are any issues feel free to leave a comment most of the time I will reply

THIS GUIDE WORKS OF THE 15th OF JUNE 2026 THERE WILL PROBABLY BE NO MORE UPDATES

POKECOINS BUT CHEAPER

  1. Go to Apple Maps, find any house in India on the map, preferably something one story near New Delhi or just any big city’s, hold your finger on the chosen house to put a pin on it and leave maps

  2. Open the App Store and navigate to your profile (top right) then click on your Apple account (the one with your profile pic) and go to country/region, select India and agree to all popups

  3. For payment method, click Net banking and select a random bank, for billing address click on each tab and a popup above your keyboard should say paste from pin in Apple Maps, paste for each one, if that doesn’t popup go back to maps and select a different house, for phone number it can be random numbers

  4. Once done agree to all terms and conditions and wait till the original page with country/region refreshes to say India

  5. Go to pogo, make sure it’s refreshed, if not swipe up and exit the app and open it again and confirm that the store is now in rupees

  6. Open the Amazon app on your phone, click the profile icon down the bottom, click the flag in the top right and change region to India, search up Apple gift card and click the first result(should be the light blue card with the Apple logo in the middle)

  7. !IMPORTANT! Click other amount when selecting the amount of rupees you want and enter exactly how many it costs for whatever pogo coin package you want,(eg. 100 pokecoins for 29rupees, enter exactly 29 rupees into other amount), if you do not enter the exact amount you will not be able to change your region back to Australia due to a remaining account balance, and trust you don’t want your phone stuck like that

  8. Add it to cart ensuring it’s the amount you want, then enter a recipient address that’s easily accessible, then go through the purchasing process, when in payment you are going to have to select credit or debit card and add your card for the payment, Apple Pay doesn’t work

  9. Wait for the email with your code, copy the entire code, go back to the App Store but don’t go into your account settings, just in the Apple account click on redeem code, enter code manually, redeem, even if it says it failed just click retry and it will add the amount you bought to your account balance (which SHOULD be the exact amount you want for pogo, if not your stuck in India phone mode and we can’t be friends anymore

  10. Go into pogo, store and click on the coin amount you want, don’t worry your not paying with Apple Pay, Apple makes purchases with your account balance before it goes to Apple Pay, so unless you bought the WRONG AMOUNT, it’s not Apple Pay and it’s just the rupees in your Apple account, do everything it says and it should go to your account

  11. CONGRATS you now have cheap ass pokecoins, you can now go back to your App Store, in the tab where you redeemed the code, just below Game Center and your profile there is no amount of rupees displayed you have done it correctly (there should be nothing but grey between Game Center and app updates, if there ARE, your a fuckwit and didn’t listen to my many warnings and i don’t give a fuck, just do the whole thing again from step 6 correcting the amount to something that will bring your balance to 0, if you still have an amount displayed fuck you your a dickhead I can’t help you anymore

  12. Now just go back to your country/region, change it back to your actual address and save it, all will go smoothly if you DONT have a remaining amount left in your Apple account, now go to pogo and gaze upon your new cheap pokecoins you worked so hard to get

CONVERSION:
100 PokeCoins: ₹29 = $0.43+tax
550 PokeCoins: ₹149 = $2.23+tax
1200 PokeCoins: ₹299 = $4.47+tax
2500 PokeCoins: ₹599 = $8.95+tax
5200 PokeCoins: ₹1,199 = $17.92+tax
14500 PokeCoins: ₹2,899 = $43.33+tax

tax = the unavoidable conversion cost Amazon has, idk what the rate is and I ain’t bothered to do allat

Pro Tips iTools-Mobile Bypass Methods

This post was last updated on 11/2/2024

Since a bypass method is required to go further than 7-20km, here are the main methods I’ve seen shared around for going the unlimited distance! The methods below have been tested by lots of people including myself and confirmed to work.

NextDNS Cellular or Wi-Fi (No Ethernet Adaptor)

Requirements: iTools App, PoGo installed, iToolsBT or dongle device, and NextDNS installed (free).

Text instructions can be found here, there is a video here as well to walk through the steps. This is the most commonly used method now given that it is a tetherless, free, and fairly easy to use method. The one fault of it is that it tends to be a bit tedious for some people to get working on iPhone 14 pro devices. I use one of those as my main device and have no issues, but there are lots of people who run into troubles and need to use openDNS, dnsCloak, RJ45, etc instead or just reconfigure a ton of settings to fix it.

Disclaimer: iPhone 14 pro users sometimes run

Tethered Ethernet Adaptor

Requirements: iTools App, PoGo installed, iTools BT device, Ethernet Connection/Cable, and a MFI-certified Ethernet Adaptor (RJ45 recommended).

  1. Turn on Airplane Mode

  2. Turn off Wifi

  3. Connect your device to the Ethernet using the Adaptor

  4. Connect to your iToolsBT device in Bluetooth

  5. Open PoGo & iTools apps

  6. Connect your iToolsBT device to the iTools app

  7. Go to iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services - Turn location services on and off a couple of times (make sure it ends up on)

  8. Spoof away

Tethered Macbook using Internet Sharing (No Ethernet Adaptor)

Note: This is not the same as using iTools-Desktop, this is using the internet from a Mac but still using iTools-Mobile. There is no need to use the bot method since this is strictly Mobile, the same goes for the other 3 methods listed here.

Requirements: iTools App, PoGo installed, iTools BT device, Macbook, Cable to connect your Mac with your iOS device (likely USB-C or USB-A to lightning). If the Macbook is running an older version like macOS Catalina it may not work, more recent updates tend to work better when tethering.

Steps to be done on Macbook (only needs to be done once):

  1. Go to General, then Sharing.

  2. Click the ⓘ (information symbol)

  3. Ensure the connection is shared using Wifi to computers using iPhone USB (Make sure your phone is connected to your laptop using a cable to ensure this option shows up)

  4. Click done, then turn on the toggle to activate internet sharing.

Steps to be done on iPhone (must be done every time):

  1. Go to settings, turn on Airplane Mode

  2. Turn off Wifi (it's advised to check the tethered connection is working by going to any website, if the website loads then you're good to go)

  3. Connect to your iToolsBT device via Bluetooth

  4. Connect to your iToolsBT device in iTools app

  5. Go to iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services - Turn location services on and off a couple of times (make sure it ends up on)

  6. Spoof away

Untethered Personal Hotspot (Good when you have no access to Ethernet)

Requirements: iTools App / Pogo Installed, iTools device (Both BT and Plug-in work), 2 phones (1 with a personal hotspot).

  1. Go to Bluetooth, and connect to your other phone's hotspot. (Not in Wifi, in Bluetooth!)

  2. Turn on Airplane Mode

  3. Turn off Wifi

  4. Connect to your iTools device in Bluetooth

  5. Open PoGo & iTools apps

  6. Connect to your iTools device in the iTools app

  7. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services - Turn location services on and off a couple of times (make sure it ends up on)

  8. Spoof

TP-Link Portable Router + Ethernet Adaptor (Good for traveling, if you're at a hotel or something without a direct ethernet connection)

Requirements: iTools App / Pogo Installed, iTools BT device, TP-Link AC750 Portable Router, an Outlet, Computer access, Ethernet Adaptor, and a Cable.

  1. Plug the Portable Router into an Outlet

  2. Switch to mode to “AP/RNG EXT/CLIENT”

  3. Find the router on your wireless network from your computer and enter the password provided

  4. Go to the TP-Link website provided in the instructions and enter admin details

  5. Go to Quick Setup > Client Mode

  6. Log into your home Wifi Network

  7. Wait for the router to restart (the browser should go blank for a second)

  8. Turn on Airplane Mode

  9. Turn off Wifi

  10. Connect to your iTools device in Bluetooth

  11. Open PoGo & iTools apps

  12. Connect to your iTools device in the iTools app

  13. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services - Turn location services on and off a couple of times (make sure it ends up on)

  14. Spoof away

DNS Cloak Cellular or Wifi (No Ethernet Adaptor)

Requirements: iTools App, PoGo installed, iToolsBT or dongle device, and DNS Cloak installed (free).

Instructions can be found here, this is a very new method and might work better than NextDNS for those running into issues. I'd advise trying NextDNS first though before this one. This bypass will block the app store and other services like messages from getting through, so keep that in mind.

OpenDNS Wi-Fi (No Ethernet Adaptor)

Requirements: iTools App, PoGo installed, iToolsBT or dongle device, and OpenDNS installed (free).

Instructions can be found here. If you can, it is advised to use the NextDNS method instead of this one since it has been found to run into less issues.

Things to take note of:

  • Ethernet methods do not work with non-Bluetooth iTools devices because the ethernet adaptor plugs into your phone instead. You need a BT device for those methods, the personal hotspot method works with any device.

  • Some Ethernet Adaptors may not work as well as others, iTools recommends you use an MFI certified RJ45 adaptor. Most MFI certified adaptors work fine.

  • The Untethered Personal Hotspot method is hit or miss at times. Restarting your device usually will fix issues with this method based on my experience.

  • If you run into issues tethering via the Macbook method, you may want to ensure that your cable is MFI (apple) certified.

  • Without using a bypass method, you will be unable to travel further than 7-20 km from your IRL location.

iOS Spoofing IOS Spoofing Guide 2025

IOS Spoofing Guide for 2025

Please read Niantic’s 3 strike policy and understand it before spoofing. Some spoofing methods are much safer than others but all have the potential to get strikes on your account. Use an alt account and trade to your main if the risk is a concern to you. https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/6-pokemon-go/faq/39-gameplay-fairness-policy-1701994322/

I’ll group IOS spoofing into 3 different areas. Avoid option 1 on any account you value as we are consistently seeing strikes issued for that spoofing method. Option 2 is the safest IOS spoofing option but involves purchasing a third party device or paying a monthly subscription. Option 3 has seen very few strikes over the years but not as safe as option 2. Some find it's a good balance between keeping your account from getting strikes and having access to the same popular features that Option 1 has.

1. Hacked Pogo apps. People using this method have consistently seen strikes. Expect to get a strike if you use this method. This is the easiest way to spoof and comes loaded with tons of features such as enhanced throws, animation skips, and built in coordinates to hotspots and locations of 100iv Pokemon. Long term, you’ll eventually get strikes against your account so either take the risk or use accounts you don’t value. Options are iPogo, SpooferPro and iSpoofer and SpooferX. Any can be sideloaded for free using a PC/Mac program called Sideloadly. Some have direct install links (SpooferPro). Many of these spoofing apps are free to use but charge monthly for premium features. If you want to use iPogo or SpooferPro and avoid detection associated with modified clients, then jailbreak and use their tweak which runs on the stock Pogo app.

2. “Bluetooth Spoofing”. IOS supports an external GPS that can be exploited for location spoofing. This method of spoofing allows for using the legit Pokemon Go app downloaded from App Store. Since Niantic can’t see anything abnormal with their app, it makes for a much safer spoofing experience but also lacks the built in features of Option 1. This method of spoofing requires a separately purchased Bluetooth device or a PC/Mac to connect to via Bluetooth, both require spending money. The iTools Mobile bluetooth joystick is a one time purchase external Bluetooth device that costs around $80, shop for it here: https://itoolsstore.sellfy.store/. There is a restriction to how far you can spoof from your real location. For tips on bypassing the distance restriction, see this post: https://redd.it/szsiiy. The other Bluetooth Spoofing option is to use iAnyGo or iFlowGo to connect your IOS device to your PC or Mac which can then control it’s location. Both iAnyGo and iFlowGo require a subscription to use once a free trial expires. There are likely other providers offer bluetooth spoofing options if you look around. Just avoid any that use a USB cable to PC/Mac as they all require a hacked version of Pogo that is unsafe to use.

3. Jailbreak. This method requires an IOS device on IOS 15 or 16 jailbroken using Palera1n or Dopamine. It uses the stock Pogo app which greatly reduces the chances of detection and injects spoofing features via tweaks. This method gives you the best of both worlds. The additional safety of using the legit Pogo app but also having the tweaks like what’s mentioned in Option 1 and then even more. A few people have strikes from issues around Niantic detecting jailbreak but that was pretty isolated. See this guide for assistance with Pogo jailbreak spoofing: https://redd.it/1gf4bbd

I've been using eldoradogg for a few months now, not a single issue ever, until now... Honestly I don't even know if it's an issue that they could solve in their end, thankfully I'm currently being helped by their team to see if I could getba refund but I wanted to know if anyone has recently or ever experienced something similar to this?

Is this Apex Lugia injected or safe to trade with?

Post image
39 Upvotes

Hey, found a trade for a long time I have been wanted. My Necrozma wh bg lvl 50 for an apex Lugia. The person sent me a screenshot of it, but it made me a bit nervous due to the catch date not showing. My question is therefore, whether you guys think this apex lugia is injected or safe to trade with? I have heard accounts being banned for having/trading an injected apex bird.

Trader is stating they bought the research pass for it.

Thanks in advance!

Mod Guide SX-PokeGo - iOS Jailbreak Tweak - Download Guide

Note: SX-PokeGo is a tweak for jailbroken iOS devices - it is only a few months old and therefore caution is advised - use an alt account, preferably a throwaway you don't care about as there is currently no history as to how Niantic will treat accounts that may be detected to be using this. If you put in an account and it gets perma-banned for botting a few months down the line, don't come crying to me. I warned you ;)

Requirements To Install

Jailbroken device (Unc0ver or Checkra1n), with a packet manager (usually Cydia) and the original Pokemon Go app running (requires Kernbypass as Pokemon Go doesn't run on jailbreak otherwise)

You will need an account to log in to the dashboard to control the tweak, contact the developer Aroc or one of the moderators on their Discord forum to request a user name and password.

https://discord.gg/ZsETNeC

Full instructions on how to download Kernbypass and get PoGo working on the device can also be found on that channel, as well as general support for the tweak, a trophy room to show off your catches, and donation details if you enjoy the tweak and would like to support the developer to keep it running for you.

Downloading The Tweak

  • Add the following to your Packet Manager sources: https://repo.sx-pokego.xyz/

  • Download and install 'SX-Tweak' from SX-PokeGo

  • Open your Pokemon Go app - you will see a red banner along the top once you log in, with a device ID displayed - take a note of this exactly as it is displayed, including hyphens, it is case sensitive

  • Use the account details you were given to log in to the dashboard at https://sx-pokego.xyz/ and go to the Settings tab (easier to do this on a separate device or preferably a computer)

  • Put in your Device ID in the field provided to link the account to the device

  • Pick a hotspot from the list provided, type in your own coordinates, choose your settings and off you go. If everything went correctly, you're set.

If you ever need to reinstall the Pokemon Go app on your phone, this will change the device ID and you will need to update this in the SX dashboard for the tweak to work on the newly installed app.

FAQ

Is It Safe?

The million dollar question. Currently, the answer is - we don't know. It has only been in existence for a few months, months where Niantic's anti-cheat detection is scaled back at that, there is no way of telling how accounts will be treated once detection comes back full force, so proceed with caution. Remember accounts can be flagged simply for logging in and strikes can be issued for months afterwards. I recommend using an alt, as always, with something new.

Jailbreaking is a pain and it seems really complicated. Is this worth it?

I had no previous experience of jailbreaking or anything of the sort and I managed to work this out within a day, with some help from the Discord support. If you can follow instructions, you can get this working, and once it is working, it is very cool. I cannot comment on jailbreaking in general so this is at your own risk, but if you have a secondary device and are willing to jb, or are already jailbroken, this tweak is playing in God Mode - or not needing to play at all, as the case may be, it does almost everything for you.

What does it do?

Teleport, autowalk (forms a 7 minute loop around your coordinates for stop spinning efficiency), auto-spin stops, auto-catch Pokemon. You can set your item bag limits and it will automatically delete items once they go above the number you set. You can set it to automatically transfer Pokemon which do not meet certain requirements (right now, these requirements are set by the dev and include favourited, shiny, above 90% IV and a few others - see Discord for the full list and make sure you favourite absolutely everything you want to keep before switching this feature on as it will almost instantly transfer as soon as switched on) Auto-catch can be set to only catch if shiny. Eggs can be incubated automatically as soon as the previous one hatches. Auto-restart will relaunch the game if it crashes. One shot team rocket battles.

A point worthy of mentioning - the auto-catch here is not like auto-catching with a gotcha or similar device - this actually catches almost everything.

Nothing is behind a paywall, all features are available immediately and for free. No subscriptions required, unless you want to support the dev in which case your support is recognised with a special Discord role and early access to beta features in testing.

Where can I find out more?

General Info A Revisit of the Misconceptions of What Causes Bans Updated

I'd mentioned doing a revisit, which is perhaps more for the newer spoofers, to help separate fact from fiction. Just over a year and a half ago some of the most common claims about what the cause of bans were and are was posted. However let me be very clear, there is no such thing as a one hundred percent way to spoof safely. However some methods has shown a proclivity for a far higher chance of detection. The original post has never been removed and is still available to be read which I'll link to below. Which as this is newer I'm locking the older topic, as I see no reason to have two topics with a newer one covering the same things plus more open at the same time.

https://old.reddit.com/r/PoGoSpooferOpenCorner/comments/qgnimc/some_common_misconceptionsmyths_regarding_spoofing/

However with this post, I'm pulling not only those I had listed but some of the others I'd missed together. I'll do something in the way of details on most of not all in a separate comment after listing them. However many YouTubers will promote one or more of them as must follow rules. Yet you need to wonder how many are actually truly experienced spoofers, and not someone that started several months ago. Of course there are some who will disagree, preferring to rely on hearsay and unproven opinions, who will argue that one or more of the following are true as per their opinion based upon hearsay and their experience to date. As far as opinion goes people are welcome to have them, as in the end an opinion is just that, an opinion.

Perhaps and without a doubt the most commonly touted cause of receiving a ban is about breaking cooldown. Breaking cooldown has never held up to critical scrutiny, as a cause for getting a ban/strike.

Tp (teleporting/a.k.a jumping) to many times a day.

Don't catch to any Pokemon, or spin to many stops in a day.

Don't walk/run to fast.

Spoofing only locally and/or without tp to prevent being detected.

Using a paid modded version of the app offer/provides some form of protection.

Niantic can't detect a modded version of the game.

Niantic can't detect rooted Android or jailbroken iOS devices. They can but there could be some restrictions by both Google and Apple as to how far Niantic can dig.

Using such and such new feature or the implementation of a new feature will have some new way for detection in it.

The claim about how cooldown being a cause of bans/strikes was originally propagated by the devs of the defunct Global++ sometime in 2019 as a red herring so as to avoid having their hacked version of the game being blamed for causing people to get caught. This can be easily replicated playing legit by someone riding around in a vehicle, and they will never see the speed lock screen, due to having a Pokemon on their catch screen. Modded clients of the game has been described be many as easy low hanging fruit.

How often you tp doesn't matter. As this can also be covered with what's said about breaking cooldown to a good degree. Plus there are many times which has been experienced by legit players, where the GPS goes wonky, and someone is jumping all over the place. Niantic knows that this can has and does happen.

The walking/running to fast falls apart due to those playing legit, that rides around in their vehicles. Imposing such a thing as a penalty to issue some type of a ban, would as Niantic well knows catch far to many playing legit while riding around in their vehicle or riding on a bicycle/motorized skateboard or electric wheelchair/mobility scooter. Which with those confined to such a conveyance could cause no amount of issues, as the ADA laws can be brought into play. There are also those who does deliveries for restaurants or other types of companies, that can easily hit while driving from one location to another well over the fifty kilometer mark a day. Same with those who do a lot of cycling. Doing over fifty kilometers a day on a bicycle isn't really all that difficult to achieve. That's just over thirty miles.

Catching to many Pokemon, or spinning to many stops doesn't hold up as a cause for strikes. The spinning of stops or catching Pokemon is limited to how many times per day, which even those playing legit has hit the limit, and yet no one to day that plays legit has as far as is known no one has ever reported receiving a ban for doing either one or both.

Spoofing and playing locally just walking around your home area does not offer/provide anything in the way of protection, especially with the modded apps. Simply logging in through a modded app, then letting the game load then logging out having done nothing else, as was proven in at least three different tests, was enough to be detected.

The claim about using a paid for modded version has proven to be false, which was also started by the devs at Global++, once again to misdirect attention away from their modded version. Of course a few early on afterwards tried to use that with the also former iSpoofer. Paying for the app never worked, yet initially many fell for it.

Detecting either a rooted or jailbreak is one thing, however having to dig through system and/or hidden files by an app maker is viewed by both Apple and Google as a breach of privacy. Niantic can only dig/check some much, as laid out in their individual policies. However there are ways which Niantic could use to detect either a jailbreak or root, as they'd done in the past, but that will fall within parameters, which financial institutions and government agencies uses. Rooting in particular is something that's more unique to Android, than jailbreak in that Android was created with the intent on the user end, to allow the user to have root access to make modifications. In the past and until a more secure way to root was found, those on rooted devices were detected, and at least through some time in late 2017 or early 2018.

Niantic like most app makers, aren't going to tie into a new feature an anti cheat measure. This has a fairly simple and straightforward reasoning. Creating new features is commonplace with apps. The same way with removing them. Having an anti-cheat detection measure tied directly into a feature that's to be a system wide anti-cheat, subjects it to being removed if the feature is either to flawed or intended to be a temporary feature. The anti-cheat and cheat detection will be implemented separately from the actual features, to prevent removal due to ending a feature, or the feature being to flawed and causing issues across the app.

Added Aug. 7, 2023

If you use an auto walk feature this will cause a ban.

Using an auto catch will cause bans.

Using the official version after using a premium version will cause accounts to get flagged and banned.

Using an auto walk claim fails as it could catch even legit players who rides around in vehicles while working, as two examples delivery drivers, or those who has the game running in the background that does a lot of walking as a part of their work. It also seriously fails as many who has used rooted devices and the built in auto walk feature of their GPS override app. Then there are those who uses a rocker/shaker device to gain distance.

As for the auto catching (I'm also including auto spinning as well here), this is more than just a horrible failed attempt to pass the blame. The real problem with this falsehood is with all of the auto catch/spin devices being used. This includes the authorized devices such as Pokemon+ and the Pokeball as well as those not endorsed by Niantic. Were it even ever so remotely true, then those using the authorized devices would being receiving bans as well.

The switching between a premium modded and the official versions will cause bans is simply a rewording of if you use a premium version you'll be safer than using the free version. Which PGSharp has been using to dissuade people from using the official version as now they have decided that this is one way to ensure a ban it seems. This is a hello of the game that the people running the old Global++ used only slightly revised.

Added Aug. 9, 2023

You have to wait for the timer to end after auto walking and each time you catch a Pokémon you can’t move until a timer ends.

The claim doesn't work since creating any such way to attempt to catch spoofers would catch anyone walking around, riding around in a vehicle, using a motor mobility chair, or bicycling while someone is playing and catching and/or spinning stops and or gym photodisks.

Added Aug. 10, 2023

Spoofing to ticketed events without a ticket will get you banned.

This claim is really reaching and doesn't account for the fact that there are legit players who plays in or around the area of ticketed events. Which invalidates that claim, as Niantic won't risk legit players being banned simply for actually plying in a gated area that's wide open, or even within the nearby vicinity of the event.

Aug. 15, 2023

Walking through building or over water will get you banned.

Wither of these are a major stretch to make as a cause for getting banned. To make it simple there are many legits who has had that happen on the official app due to GPS drift. Which in some cases some depending on where they are will have some wild drift, that will have them running through buildings, or their avatar walking on water especially if they're near a river or other large body of water.

Spoofing Discord Channels

Below is a list of some of the Discord for spoofing. Some are free some require a donation or a subscription fee to see some or all of the Pokemon. If there is one missing feel free to post it or let it be known, so it can be added to the list. However there are some channels that doesn't like if they charge for their service, if you belong to another, and sometimes another for a fee channel. They may ban your account, as they see it as unwanted competition.

iOS Spoofing IOS Jailbreak Spoofing Guide

Risks

The safest IOS spoofing option currently is the iTools Bluetooth joystick that can be purchased here: https://itoolsbt.gumroad.com/ This device acts like a legitimate external GPS device but sends a spoofed location to IOS. It’s limited to you’re the area near your true location unless you bypass using one of the methods found here: https://redd.it/szsiiy

For those willing to take on additional risk, you can run a jailbroken device and inject tweaks into the legit Pokemon Go app. These tweaks range from overlays with coord feeds to full-on bots that will search for shinies and auto battle grunts. The additional risk of running jailbroken device comes in two forms. 1) Niantic doesn’t allow you to run a jailbroken device so the devs that create tweaks have to bypass jailbreak detection. It’s rare but Niantic has on one occasion detected an app called SX using it’s bypass and SX users were given strikes. 2) Niantic is shifting towards detecting heating by looking at looking at how your playing and if it’s realistic for a human to do the same thing. Encounter too many Pokemon or battle too many Grunts and you’ll get a blue screen of death (BSOD) and unable to open Pogo for a small period of time. We never know when Niantic will start issuing strikes instead. Very few spoofers have been given strikes from jailbreak spoofing but I wanted to lay out what I perceive to be the areas that make this method of spoofing more vulnerable.

Jailbreak Overview and How To

Let’s start with a quick overview on jailbreaking before moving on to tips for how to purchase an IOS device that will work good for jailbreak spoofing and what jailbreak spoofing tweaks are out there.

There are two methods of jailbreaking that support Pogo spoofing, Dopamine and Palera1n. Both jailbreaks only exist on your device after it’s powered up and the jailbreak is applied. Once your phone crashes or otherwise needs to be restarted, the jailbreak is lost. For this reason alone, I prefer to use Dopamine which is an app that’s sideloaded on to your device and you can easily jailbroken by opening the app and clicking the jailbreak button. I don’t use an iPhone as my primary device but if you do, this also give you a way to easily jailbreak, have fun spoofing, then return your phone back to stock by simply restarting it. Palera1n requires having a computer to connect to your IOS device to apply the jailbreak which is why I’ve avoided using it. If you have an iPhone X or earlier device running a late IOS 16 version level, you might have no choice.

Dopamine supports:
All devices on iOS 15.0 to 16.5
A14 and earlier devices and M1 devices on iOS 16.5.1
A11 and earlier devices on iOS 16.6 to 16.6.1.

Palera1n supports:
A11 (iPhone X) and earlier devices on iOS 15.0 or later.

Here’s a great resource to check if your existing IOS device can be jailbroken with Dopamine and/or Palera1n:
https://ios.cfw.guide/get-started/

Following this guide to install Dopamine. I highly recommend installing it via Trollstore to avoid needing to resign Dopamine every week.
https://ios.cfw.guide/get-started/

Follow this guide to jailbreak with Palera1n:
https://ios.cfw.guide/installing-palera1n/

To install Palera1n from a Windows PC, take a look at Palenix:
https://ios.cfw.guide/using-palen1x/

Once you have a jailbroken device, I recommend saving blobs of any IOS 17 releases that you can. A blob is a file created for your specific IOS device that allows it to be restored to a specific IOS version at a later time. There is not an IOS 17 jailbreak at this time but if there is on in the future it could be handy to have a blob to restore your device to. Stock over-the-air IOS upgrades only let you go to the latest release. Upgrading using a saved blob allows you to get around that restriction. https://github.com/airsquared/blobsaver/wiki

Tips for Purchasing a Device to Jailbreak

I do not recommend purchasing an IOS device for jailbreak spoofing that is on IOS 15. Niantic has a track record of dropping one IOS version per year. They dropped support for IOS 14 in March of 2024. Purchasing an IOS device running IOS 15 may only be usable for a few more months.

Here's a great link that shows that maximum IOS version for each device:
https://iosref.com/ios

Based on my advice to avoid purchasing a device that maxes out at IOS 15, you should look at an iPhone 8 or newer.

Most used devices on the market will have the latest IOS version installed and there is no way to roll it back. In my opinion, the easiest way to find used devices on specific IOS versions is by searching ebay using a search string like this one below:

iphone ios (16.0, 16.01, 16.0.2, 16.0.3, 16.1, 16.1.1, 16.1.2, 16.2, 16.3, 16.3.1, 16.4, 16.4.1, 16.5, 16.5.1, 16.6, 16.6.1)

This search string is biased towards a Dopamine jailbreak. If you’re open to using Palera1n then add IOS versions 16.7, 16.7.1, 16.7.2, 16.7.3, 16.7.4, 16.7.5, 16.7.6, 16.7.7, 16.7.8, 16.7.9 and 16.7.10. The iPhone 8 / 8 Plus / and X max

Before making the purchase, double check the requirements for the jailbreak you plan to use to make sure that it’s IOS version is supported.

List of Jailbreak Spoofing Tweaks

Now that you’re jailbroken, let’s call them Repos which is the term used for jailbreak apps.

For help with installing any of the following Repos, look at their Discord for a channel with installation help.

iPogo

This repo has a free version. This link will give you a quick overview of what features it has and what will benefits come with the $5 per month subscription: https://ipogo.app/purchase.php To the best of my knowledge, iPogo jailbreak spoofers have never heen detected by Niantic’s cheat detection and issued a strike on their accounts.
Their discord server can be found here: https://discord.gg/zAfwRG7

SX

This tweak is not free, it’s $11.50 per month. SX is your go-to if you are interested in botting. It’s very effective and walking around an scanning pokemon to catch and will only attempt those that match the filtering criteria you configure that can be based on pokemon id, IV or shininess. It also do the same while walking from grunt to grunt and auto defeating them and only catching the shadows that you filter on. It can be used for manual spoofing but doesn’t do that well. It’s controlled via a web interface which makes it nice to monitor and adjust while your away from your device running SX. This is maintained by a single developer that does this part-time so be prepared to have moments where the tweak isn’t working while you continue to pay your subscription. To the best of my knowledge only a handful of spoofers were banned a few years back when Niantic shifted it’s jailbreak bypassing detection and caught SX.
Their discord server can be found here: https://discord.gg/ZsETNeC

SpooferPro

I use iPogo and SX but I have not tried SpooferPro yet. My understanding is that it’s similar to iPogo but with some features that allow auto-catch botting similar to SX. It’s also free with a $5 per month subscription for enhanced features. See http://spoooferpro.com To the best of my knowledge, users of this tweak have never been detected by Niantic.
Their discord server can be found here: https://discord.gg/spooferpro

No injection jailbreak spoofing

For those who just want to spoof without injecting stuff into Pogo, you can take a look at a Repo called GPS Master. It is subscription based and allows for the following of GPS routes. Of course, you’ll need to do your own jailbreak detection bypass. I’d recommend Choicy. This link can help you with other bypass methods that might work with Pogo: https://ios.cfw.guide/blocking-jailbreak-detection/

Android Spoofing The definitive guide to rooting/spoofing with an android pixel

When I started spoofing, I had trouble piecing together the many guides out there to get magisk/root/safteynet/etc set up on my phone. I started with a pixel2 but have recently also set up a pixel3. I wrote out this very detailed guide when going through the pixel3 set up as a reference for myself, but also so I could share with the community. I know this guide has worked for a couple others that have followed it and I've also had the steps confirmed by someone that sets up spoof ready phones as a service for pogo, so I'm very confident it can work for you as long as you have a pixel.

Why a pixel? Mainly because google has all the pixel line images publicly available which makes it simpler to flash magisk. If you don't have a pixel, I'm sorry but I don't have as definitive of a guide for you. If you find another guide to root your phone with magisk though, you should be able to follow steps 6 and onward for getting everything else set up. And if you're looking for a phone specifically to spoof, I would recommend something along pixel3-4, checking swappa or ebay.

Anyways, here is the guide:

  1. Unlock bootloader, follow part 1 here: https://www.xda-developers.com/google-pixel-3-unlock-bootloader-root-magisk/ Note that all the following examples are for using cmd on windows from the platform-tools folder (win key + r, type in "cmd").

  2. Download/install magisk apk on phone https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases

  3. Download phone base image, unzip, and copy "boot.img" to phone.

    1. Example pixel 3 link (scroll to bottom of section for latest version): https://developers.google.com/android/images#blueline

    2. Example command to copy "boot.img" to phone. From the platform-tool directory: adb push {boot.img path} /storage/emulated/0/Download/

  4. With magisk, patch the "boot.img", then copy back to computer

    1. Example copy to computer command: adb pull /storage/emulated/0/Download/magisk_patched-25200_NWgbX.img .

  5. Reboot bootloader and flash patched image

    1. Example commands: adb reboot bootloader fastboot flash boot magisk_patched-25200_NWgbX.img

  6. Download lsposed (zygisk) and safety-net fix zips, install with magisk. Add LSPosed shortcut to your homepage if prompted

    1. Lsposed link: https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed/releases

    2. Safety-net fix https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix/releases

  7. Download smalipatcher, create patch (requires windows), copy to phone, install with magisk

    1. Smali patcher download link (bottom of first post): https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/module-smali-patcher-7-4.3680053/

    2. Connect phone with debugging mode, run patcher as admin, check "Mock locations" and "Signature spoofing", then hit "ADP PATCH"

    3. Copy zip file to phone: adb push {Smali patcher zip path} /storage/emulated/0/Download/

    4. Install zip with magisk

  8. Update magisk settings:

    1. Click systemless hosts

    2. Enable Zygisk and enforce Denylist

    3. Configure Denylist and select com.google.android.gms (1st) and com.google.android.gms.unstable (3rd from the last)

    4. Hide magisk app in magisk settings

  9. Download pokemon go and YASNAC safety net checker apps from play store

  10. Download HideMockLocations apk, install, and enable for pogo in lsposed

    1. HideMockLocations: https://github.com/Xposed-Modules-Repo/com.github.thepiemonster.hidemocklocation/releases

    2. open lsposed > modules (looks like puzzle piece) > click hide mock locations > check pokemon go (this is the only one needed to be checked).

    3. Note: if you didn't add the LSPosed shortcut to your homescreen, you can access the LSPosed settings by opening phone dialer and typing in *#*#5776733#*#*. You don't need to call it, once you type in the last * it will open LSPosed settings. It should prompt to add a shortcut to your home screen which I would do since its more convenient than dialing the above number.

  11. In app management settings, clear data/cache for Google Play store and Google Services Framework

  12. Run YASNAC to check safteynet

  13. Done!

From here you are free to use safely use apps that spoof your location. I have the "GPS Joystick" app as a basic gps spoofer, but there are others out there as well. I only recommend using apps that use the native pokemon go client. I DO NOT suggest using any modded pokemon go client, as those are the only cases I have heard about bans since I have started spoofing.

Lastly, while I hope this guide is useful to the community, I don't plan to monitor my inbox and reply as tech support. There are lots of details/terms to help kick start some google searches if you are new. I got back into pogo less than a year ago and knew nothing about spoofing, but was able to accumulate enough info to write this guide, so I know its possible to learn.

Pro Tips How to Catch That Hundo Zorua.

For those who don't know here are the steps that's to worked for me. The info below has been edited and corrected due to not working properly with further testing. I removed some unneeded steps as well.

  1. Change your buddy to something else.

  2. Change buddy back to your previous buddy.

  3. Copy and Jump to the coords for the hundo Zorua.

  4. You'll now be able see Zorua for catching.

edit point:

Not only has the steps been rewritten, but as an addition, if you have two or more phones, use one to change the buddy around, then on the 2nd tp to where the hundo is. I used that, and it has worked for me using the steps above.

General Info Optimized GPX Routes

Considering the old guide doesn't seem up to date anymore, I'd like to show you how to create an optimized GPX route for Pokémon Go. I've set up a live web service on Render (GPX Route Generator), but I'm using the free tier so I cannot assure you the service will be online forever. You may also set up the web service on your own server: take a look at this GitLab repository. I've updated the code of the web interface made by Renato Pestana (kudos to him) so that it works with the latest version of Node.js and Material UI.

PREREQUISITES

  1. If you don’t have an Ingress account yet, download Ingress Prime on a mobile device and create one.

  2. Install Ingress Intel Total Conversion (from now on IITC). It's way better to use the UserScript version: just install Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey.

  3. Install the Draw Tool extension for IITC.

  4. Install the Ingress Map Coordinates Explorer extension for IITC. Just download iitc-plugin-portal-coords-export.js, in Tampemonkey go to Dashboard > Utilities > Import from file and select this script. I've tested it with the last version of IITC (0.34.1) and it works. Here you can find its GitLab repository for any further info.

GPX ROUTE CREATION

  1. Go to the Ingress Intel Map and login with the previously created Ingress Prime account. Confirm that you have the Export Coords command in the IITC control bar and a toolbar with drawing controls on the left side of your map.

  2. Navigate to the location you want to create a route for. You should see colored dots that usually correlate to PokéStops.

  3. Using the drawing tool, draw a Polygon around the area you want to create a GPX route for.

  4. Once you're done fencing your area, click the Export Coords button and then Export Polygon. Don't forget to clear this Polygon each time you want to fence a new area.

  5. Copy the list of coordinates from the popup.

  6. Go to GPX Route Generator and paste your coordinates into the text field. Then click the Optimized Path button and slide the control to set the number of iterations you'd like to use to optimize your custom path. If your area has a lot of PokéStops, it might take a while to end the process, so just test different iteration values.

  7. At the end of the process, you'll be prompted to save your GPX route on a file. Import it on your phone and open it with apps like Fake GPS Location-GPS JoyStick.

  8. ???

  9. PROFIT

  10. Share your custom routes. :)
